Kevin and Shannon operate a business offering infrared sauna, PEMF, and cold plunge services out of the Wailea Healing Center. While it's marketed as a healing environment, what I experienced was serious disorganization, poor communication, and emotional volatility. I'm currently on a medical detox protocol, and regular sauna sessions are a critical part of my healing. After my first session with Kevin, he told me to coordinate payment and future scheduling through Shannon. I texted and called her multiple times--no response. Kevin continued to schedule me and eventually asked me to pay him $200 in cash, which I did. Shannon finally texted me and scheduled two sessions, but on the morning of the first, she canceled--saying it was Mother's Day, despite having booked it herself. I was polite, even though I had organized my day around that session. I then missed the next appointment--just one--after a lengthy medical treatment. I called Kevin to apologize and offered to pay. Instead of responding with empathy or professionalism, he launched into an intense and angry rant, accusing me of being difficult, blaming me for scheduling later in the day, and telling me not to book with him again. His tone was deeply unsettling and completely out of proportion. After that, I contacted Shannon again, but she ignored my text and voicemail, and Kevin made no effort to follow up or assist. Working with them wasn't healing--it was harmful and distressing. To be clear: this review is about Kevin and Shannon only. I met Rebecca, the owner of Wailea Healing Center, and she was lovely. Other services there may be worthwhile--but I strongly recommend avoiding Kevin and Shannon.

I wish I had never done business with them and I suggest anyone looking for weight loss options, look somewhere else. I became pregnant half way through my Elite weight loss package and they refused to prorate or refund unused visits and treatments. From a consumers perspective, I paid for something and didn't get what I paid for. I understand the packages are discounted and the individual cost of the treatments are more - but I would never pay for the individual cost of the treatments in the first place. That's why I chose a package! It was disappointing after having had a pleasant first impression. I don't expect for many other clients to get pregnant during their program, so other experiences will be different I'm sure. From my end though, it was bad business and made me feel icky. I wish they had a way to meet me half way. As it stands, I will have to wait till after the baby is born and I'm done breastfeeding to finish out the remaining visits and treatments. So that will be an uncomfortable visit in about a year. For others looking to do a package, just don't get pregnant! Also, keep track of your treatments and visits and do your due diligence. Side note, I did lose 12 pounds and would probably have lost 25 if I didn't get pregnant (I suppose I'll be gaining that back now ). However, this grief was NOT worth 12 pounds...or even 25.
