I reiterated that I wanted the roots blonde so when they grew out more I wouldn't have to deal with roots plus darker ends. She seemed to get it. Colored my hair. I dried it. I told Ellie that the roots were still dark. She told me I was wrong, they were perfect and blended perfectly. How do you respond to that sort of thing? I smiled, paid, tipped her, and I won't go back. I would like to ask all colorists to please do what the client asks rather than what you think looks good. They were responsive and polite and Nicole does a fantastic job on my cut and color. They just got a fresh interior redo so the space is bright, open, and friendly. There's an expanded shopping section full of Moroccan Oil, Amica, and RedKen products. The only negative is they don't answer the phone or return phone calls, so you have to do everything on the website, which can be confusing the first time you're booking.

I've been a patron for probably at least five years. I like to change my color and style frequently and I am never disappointed with the end result. I trust their judgement when it comes to color and style. My hair doesn't hold color well, so I've been a little unsure when I've walked out of the salon, like the color is a little dark or the highlights are a little too noticeable, but a few washes later and my hair looks perfect. A couple of times my hair was a little shorter than I had hoped, but again, within a few days, it looks perfect. The salon itself isn't fancy, so you don't get the same spa feel but the space is bright and they use good hair products. The prices are extremely reasonable and you would likely pay more for stylists with the same experience with at another salon. I think the clientele is a reflection of the neighborhood. Sweet little older ladies, moms with their kids, middle age men, etc. I found them because I was looking for a salon that had online booking. They are very accommodating and warm. The waxing service is pretty good.
