I'm a Chinese national working at Boy's Town. I arrived in Omaha This past summer. I was in need of a vehicle so colleagues from work suggested I check out a popular midtown repair shop as they frequently have cars for sale. I found a vehicle I liked and test drove it. I had the repair shop, I will not name them, look it over to make sure it was in good condition before I purchased it. Within just a few months the 4WD light came on and when I stepped on the brakes there was loud squealing sound. I took the vehicle back to the repair shop and they looked it over and told me the part that makes the car go into 4WD was broken and it would cost over $1300 to fix it, but I could drive it as 2WD. Then they told me the squealing was the front brake parts and they all needed to be replaced rotors, calipers, brakes everything... for around $500. I told them I just bought it, but they said there was no warranty on a used car and it was sold "As Is". I was so mad I just went back to work. I was telling my friends about my experience and trying to determine what to do next when one of the computer IT guys overheard our conversation and suggested I take my car to his mechanic Joey at Brezina Autocare. I made the appointment and took the car to Brezina Autocare. I met with Joey and he hooked a small computer up to the vehicle to see what the problem was. Then he lifted the car and looked under it. after a few minutes he brought what he said were the break pads in and showed them to me. he showed me where the pad was and where there was a metal clip next to the pad. He told me metal clip was a warning device to let me know when the breaks are low and need to be replaced. He said he couldn't find anything else wrong with the brakes, no problem with the calipers or rotors. He also told me he cleared the error code for the 4WD light and if the light comes back on to come back and see him. Joey replaced the front breaks and it's been 5 months now and the 4WD light has not come back on. Joey and Brezina Autocare saved me $1700! Recently my battery died and Joey replaced the battery and two connectors on top of the battery and only charged me for the battery. :) Being a Chinese woman so far from home I am most appreciative of Joey and Brazina Autocare for their professionalism, honesty and good work ethic. As long as I'm here they are my mechanic! THANK YOU JOEY!!! read more

My Dodge Charger was sitting in my driveway for almost 2 years while I saved enough to replace the engine. I was very nervous about towing it to a shop and their estimate would be too expensive as I was on a limited budget. Trinity treated me like gold and made sure I was aware of every option. She quoted price estimates but let me know that nothing was definite until they were able to look at it. So.. the estimates were well below other shops and Brezina came highly recommended so I committed. The engine was replaced in a timely manner and was on par with the quoted price. They found the oil pan broken after replacement and covered the entire cost of replacement without question because they were unsure if they broke it or if it was broken previously. This is something that won me over as plenty of shops would add that cost to your bill anyways. They also replaced one tire with a used one as asked. Once we found out that another tire needed to be replaced as well, they refunded the original used tire cost and gave me a deal on the new set. My experience with Brezina was nothing short of amazing. I ended up totaling the car 6 days later. Brezina did everything they could to help get an increased value and called to follow up multiple times. I've felt like family from the moment I talked to Trinity on the phone until now. I will never take a care to another shop unless I'm hundreds of miles away. They've earned a lifelong customer and I've recommended them to everybody that has told me they need auto repairs done. They are professionals at not only fixing cars but also making you feel welcome and appreciated. Best experience I've had with ANY company ever. A+++ read more

Just moved here from Langley AFB, Virginia. Finding a good mechanic every time I get stationed at a new base becomes an adventure, but the adventure didn't last long this time. Needing a mechanic I was referred to Brezina Autocare by colleagues at Offutt. Joey and Cori have been lifesavers for my wife and me. They've saved us thousands of dollars and countless hours of headache and trouble. These guys are are fast, courteous, cost effective and honest; four things that are hard to find in a mechanic. The thing that we like best about Joey is he will straight out tell you if repairs are necessary or if they are basically a nuisance, and they will also tell you, from a personal opinion (not a money hungry standpoint) whether or not the repairs will be a wise financial decision. Overall, I can without hesitation honestly recommend Brezina Autocare to anyone and everyone. read more

We took our Cadillac to a local Cadillac dealer for routine maintenance (oil change). We were told that we needed new front brake pads and the cost would be $337.00. Because we had used Brezina's for service on our second car, we took the Cadillac to Brezinas for an estimate to have the front brake pads replaced. The estimate was $170.03 so we took the car to them for the service. On the day of service Brezina's called us to say that the brake pads still have 35% usage and can go another 10,000 miles before they need to be replaced. They put the wheels back on and said "no charge." Brezina's will be the ONLY company that services either of our cars from this day forward. HONESTY REALLY IS THE BEST POLICY and this company has proven itself to be honest, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional, what more could a customer ask for? Thank you Brezina's !! read more

The most honest and fair shop in the metropolitan area... Ive been taking our vehicles to Joey since they opened. whether it's been problems with four wheel drive, transmission, heater, radiator, brakes... electrical... He's always been more than fair and reasonable. Today we discussed replacing my son-in-laws engine on his 2005 F150, and while I was there I purchased some all weather tires for my wife's RAV4 just in time for winter. I've recommended Brezina Auto Care to friends, relatives, neighbors and complete strangers in need of a good mechanic that knows what he's doing and won't try to sell you something you don't need. I've been around a long time and one of the things I've learned is that it's a MUST to know a good mechanic. Because it might be running now, but when it doesn't you're going to need one. Highly recommended!!! read more

I've done business with Brezina Autocare a little over a year. You see a lot of comments about their honesty. Let me qualify that with a recent event that happened. Several months ago my car was overheating. I had a scheduled oil change at the Tires Plus on Pacific street. They told me I needed a new radiator and gave me a written quote of over $700.00. I then took it to Brezina and did not mention anything to them about what they told me at Tires Plus. One of the mechanics at Brezina checked out my car and said it was just a switch that went bad and it would cost a little over $100.00. He replaced the switch and my car ran just fine after that. So, not only is Brezina Autocare honest and friendly, but they also know their business. And that's why I will remain a loyal customer. read more

Brezina was recommended to me because I was told that they are very honest and reasonable with their pricing and their work. I was surprised at how extremely true that was! Took my car in for a small fix and they didn't take advantage of my zero car knowledge, didn't try to tell me I'd have to keep it any longer than needed, and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I was so impressed at how kind and helpful the staff were, and how honest the guy who worked on my car was. I had already spoken with other places that were going to charge me in the hundreds just to take a look, and would have probably had me pay a crap ton that I didn't need to pay. These guys are awesome. I'll be back and I'd highly recommend them! read more

I decided to use this place about a decade ago. I met one of the owners at a social gathering and he seemed trustworthy. My car was having some issues and I decided to take it in here. The staff allowed me to drop off the vehicle late at night and pick it up the next afternoon, due to my schedule. My tire shot out when I was driving. I wasn't injured nor was anyone else. I took it back to Brezina and they informed me that they made a mistake. They apologized and fixed the issues for free. The car ran well after that, no issues. I loved that they took ownership of their mistake and solved the problem. Management here are real class acts. My family have been patrons her for nearly 10 years since. read more

I have taken my cars here for years for anything from oil changes to alternators to timing belts and the list goes on they have always been fair on price. I have three cars and and it's hard to stay on top of everything thing that needs to be done but they do a great job a seeing and alerting me to potential problems so I can fix them before they become a major issue. Even though they are great mechanics they are also great at explaining why what they are fixing needs to be fixed so that I can understand it as well as when my wife brings her car in they make sure she knows what is wrong and how they are going to repair it. She has always felt comfortable when she is there. read more

I've been taking my car to Brezina Autocare for over 5 years. Not only are they kind & courteous but the are quick in completing scheduled oil changes or more complicated repairs. I dropped my car off last Sunday evening so they could work on it Monday morning expecting it to be finished perhaps early afternoon...they called at about 11:00 AM to let me know it was ready. When I arrived and went in to pay it was around $20 LESS than I'd been quoted on an estimate about a year ago. I will never go anyplace else! Karen M read more

Awesome independent shop. Family owned, honest and very thorough. They don't try to upsell you on things you don't need. They will actually tell you if they would do it or if it is something that can wait. We take all our vehicles here, we know they are honest, pay attention to details and do great work for a fair price. They can work on anything. They are very good with Honda's and Acura's. Almost all the Acura NSX owners I know trust our cars with them. read more

I love Joey. Unfortunately I moved so I can't bring my car in to Brezina Autocare for little things like oil changes. When I need more expensive/complicated work done on my car I go out of my way to have Joey do it. This guy is honest and really knows his stuff. Joey, I've cheated on you with other mechanics in the past, but I've learned my lesson, and I will never cheat on you again. You are the best! read more

I've been taking my vehicles to Brezina Auto Care for years. They are very knowledgeable and do amazing work.
