The place was busy as it was the jazz/fringe festival weekend so the clientelle was of all ages (a bit annoying having babies/kids screaming thoughout the meal) including elderly who came in through the fire door for easy access. We had a bar snack sandwich each and was impressed by the staff and the quality of the food, so we had a quick look at the full menu and decided to book a table for that evening. The food is quite traditional, but with a wonderful eastern influence. Beautifully presented with fantastic flavours, every course was a delight and I thought the bill was very reasonable. For tourists this is in an ideal location for visiting Abergavenny, Blaenavon and most of the industrial heritage of Wales and the South West.
