Service was a bit slow and our kids kept asking when the food would get there. I had to keep reminding them they were busy. They stayed busy playing the free pacman game in the back. Love that it was free. The restaurant itself has so much more potential with the 80s vibe than what they had. It was a bit rundown but overall fun to tell my kids about. They had some where's Waldo prints in each booth and some 80s trivia cards. The food itself was average. Nothing spectacular but decent. I had the pancakes with the yogurt. Kids had waffles and bacon.

Overall, a solid place to grab breakfast. We stopped in on a Saturday for brunch around 1 PM. I…read moreappreciated the throwback music and trivia cards on the table. I went mistake and eggs, unfortunately, my steak was extremely overcooked, but everything else was fine. We shared breakfast cheese curds and while I wouldn't describe them as cheese curds they were very tasty. My friend got the Reuben, huge portion and she was only able to eat half, but said it was really good. Service was OK, nothing to write home about. We stood at the front for about 10 minutes being passed by multiple people before someone finally decided to see us. The restaurant seems large, we didn't end up having any drinks, but it's nice to know they have a full bar menu if needed. Would we be back? Maybe. With so many other restaurants nearby I think I would continue exploring, but if you're looking for a simple basic breakfast, I think this is the spot to go.

If you are "wise" to her get ready because it will come back 10x! I have been going to this place for many years but have never written a review. Probably because I looking for the right word to call the waitress. Haha I have ordered the burgers before and they are outstanding! Hand pressed and they are BIG. I made the mistake of order a double yesterday and I had my hands full...literally. Great flavor and very filling! I ordered the fries as well and left plenty behind because I couldn't eat all of them. Good FF The place is very clean and has the same décor it had....well long ago! A MUST stop if you are in the Winona, MN area. It is difficult to get to but don't worry Witoka is in the goggles. The Friday night fish fry is outstanding as you probably read in other reviews. The fish used at the fish fry is not on the regular menu so don't confuse the two!

The lemonade basically just tasted like sour water. For a starter, I got the chicken and wild rice soup. It was horrible in texture and flavor. For the main course, I got the roast turkey with mashed potatoes and my partner got the patty melt with fries. The roast turkey was absolutely horrible in how it looked and just had no flavor at all. The patty melt was "alright." This place needs to learn that it is 2026 and that there is something called salt and pepper that you actually put on food. I'm not that surprised though since the diners consisted of old people.
