Not only was the amount of food a total bummer, but the lines because of the lack of food was atrocious. We are talking hour wait times from line to getting your food. It was an organizational nightmare as lines whipped around into other lines and through the grass and roads surrounding. The lack of local beer was also very apparent. They had miller light, coors, and one "craft beer booth/tent" that had a few local madtree cans and then some bigger craft beer names. Again, a total disappointment for an event of this caliber. I don't know if the sponsors weren't getting a lot out of this and decided not to participate this year or if the people organizing this event just weren't really pitching/selling the event hard enough to get sponsors. Either way with as much going on as Cincinnati has - I would not recommend this festival. The only saving grace was being a 90's babies and hearing blessed union of souls and even that was a disappointment as they played mostly cover songs of other peoples music.

This year the music was still good and the reason for receiving any stars. The "Taste" piece is where it missed the mark. It gets very crowded and in recent years that would scare me away, but the vendors and patrons are very friendly. My only negative is, I wouldn't bring multiple kids that are 5-12 years old, its so crowded keeping track of them would be difficult and I think many kids would be bored. (Maybe your kids are different) The town of Waynesville was so charming, I want to come back to town when the festival isn't going on and check it out.

My first visit to the Lebanon Blues Festival was during the 20th annual of the event…read more When I arrived in Lebanon I was able to find easy parking in the historic downtown parking lots though they were near full and many of the streets were packed with cars as well. Given it's a Blues Fest, the first thing I saw was an antique car show and competition. This leads me to mention that this event as expanded well beyond a Blues festival. This is a city block party. Food vendors, food trucks, craft merchants, car shows and lastly the beer garden with live bands. During the 2018 event everything expanded across four streets. The area that served beer was somewhat fenced in along a grassy area with natural shade and the center stage. After entering the beer garden they planned for capacity by having separate tents to check for ID, purchase tickets for alcohol and lastly serve beer. I was able to listen to a couple bands during my visit. I really enjoyed The Sean Carney Band. The City of Lebanon and Lebanon Optimist club really did a bang up job.

Please do this event more often!! I tried the following: AJ's Cheesesteaks - I've heard so much about how they're some of the best cheesesteaks in the area. The product was definitely quality and the bread was good, but all I could taste was the butter they put all over the bun, no cheese or steak flavor. The sandwich was also kind of small. I would try it again sometime, especially the fries, but tbh Penn Station is better for me. Fusako - I was really excited to try this truck. I guess the signature item was the wings or the hotdog, which sounded great but too heavy for me. I tried the street corn gyoza and it was $10 for 4 gyoza with some canned corn and mayo topping and regular dumplings...? I didn't get it. Shaken up Lemonade - I appreciated that this lemonade was not super sweet and it was a large portion. Refreshing! Naughty Lobster - The sandwich was good, I just got a plain one instead of experimenting. I think it's better than the corporate lobster truck that comes around here sometimes. The Harvest Home Fair is a downright ancient tradition here on the West Side of Cincinnati. Every year on the weekend after Labor Day a little fair pops up to take over Harvest Home Park in Cheviot. It has all the fair essentials; rides, animals, and of course the wonderful fair food. They even manage to fit a little rodeo area in, too. The one downside was the expense. It was $5 just to get in! And then you had to pay for everything else, too. Well, the rodeo was free actually. But the rides and food were not cheap! All in all we spent $31 for my wife and me, and I can imagine a family would seriously spend some dough. But there's no point trying to deny your child the joys of a fair once they know it's there. Hey that rhymed. Awesome.

Bring cash for tipping... they make it clear that is expected so bring cash. If u go to mud show ...you might get muddy. This is great place to people watch ... that's all I'm saying about that . This isn't something id go to regularly but we have been 3-4 times many years ago. It's really not changed much over the years but entertaining.

Management has not figured traffic control after all of these years Lots and lots of food choices. Excellent family adventures. Caveat: Comfortable dining, and we view this as a plus - sweaters, jacket, and sweatshirts are welcome. Several reviews refer to dry meats, and we suggest an early arrival to prevent this malady. Take care with the wee ones - lots of walking and family friendly events. Neat experience...Would we return? All in all - in a few years.
