I've been banking with this company off and on for 6 years now persona and business account. I called before hand because I was locked out of my online account considering you have to possibly use or add more numbers to your account number that's given to you by staff or management upon opening your account. Now 5 staff members I remembered immediately upon walking in I sat down to connect my accounts and about 7 min into doing so I was met with a load of questions as if I wasn't welcome there. she asked did I need help I said yes I'm just hooking up and linking my bank accounts I have questions tho once I'm done. She the manager ask do you wanna ask me now but with a look of what do u want. I was lost. I just knew the cops was coming because I was sitting in my bank branch trying to figure out how to conn my accounts. she showed a lot of concern but no one ever greeted me upon entry at all sooo . I thinking they have to like u personally first to get good service because depending on who you were when u walk in. U get a big loud hi how u been lol not business like , the customer service sucks at best read more

This place is really going to shxx!! (excuse my language). but because your remote deposit person is working from home, I have to wait to receive my deposit that was deposited remotely over 4 hrs ago. This is not my only experience you all need some serious training starting at the TOP! I have been a member for over 15 yrs and recently this new management (Laura) does not know much customer service, as her staff is a reflection. I opened a business account a few months ago, and a simple clerical error was made on their part. simple, but the manner in how it happened was pure negligence. I need to hear from someone in Corporate! you all are spending money on the wrong things. You all are totally unprofessional!! read more

Totally unprofessional, most horrible experience, and I've been a member for over 12 years, This past experience I may not be for long. For starters this New Branch Manager named Linda, Laura not sure exactly what her name is cause her rudeness and unprofessionalism was more mo Rememorable. I had inquired of opening a Business account for my Business, and why not my bank?!.. Fast-forward. I contacted Brewery looking for Kisten. Who had u had a wonderful experiences with anytime I had concerns, or questions. Linda answered and insisted I see her instead. My first visit I had needed more information so that I could move forward. So that was my fault. However during the appointment she was so snotty, and short. I get I may have wasted her time not having my needed docs to continue. Laura than stated that she would be giving me a follow up Call once my paper work was approved by the IRS. I call two days later spoke with a Kristen she stated that Laura was on vacation which is why she never returned my call. As a professional she should have made me aware she would be out for vacation. Once back I finally spoke with her she was so nasty still, speaking over me refusing to even schedule me an appointment. She was really giving rude Auntie Vibes. Totally unprofessional. Brewery CU Clean it up!! Cause this has been happening more often than not. Regards read more

Brewery back at it again, I already bank elsewhere and they have my car note and they cant even pay themselves right! I called in my already late car payment on the the 1st of November a few days later I received an email asking when was I going to be making the payment? I responded kindly, "check your records" a few more days later I received the same email from Renea, whom I'm pretty sure is Kristen. or Krista.. Anywho. So I called and asked what happened to my payment that should be processed already? I spoke with Ameerah who also seems to be a member of Management she told me should would run the calls back to see who I had given my information to, and that she would call me back in an hr... 3hrs later..... I received a called back from Ameerah who states the "President" had reviewed the calls, and that Teller is out and not back until Monday, but was sure to call me back on Monday. Today is Wednesday, no call. so I called spoke to Lori, (also a member of Management), and also good at sweeping Brewery things under the rug, and making excuses for Staff. This makes no sense! she says "just give me the info and I'll take care of this".. Sure that's trusting! Kristen told me a few months ago or I mean Renea. asked me to give Brewery a chance, and that they had hired new staff, and having trainings on Customer Services. L I E S!!! NO ONE SHOULD THEY ARE GOING DOWN FAST!! New Decor should bring new Attitudes... Thank You! read more

Terrible customer service! Man who answered phone spoke so garbled that I couldn't understand one word. Others I dealt with seemed to not want to be there. Later, I applied for a loan but next day asked to remove request as I decided to pay cash. Loan employee said she would remove my loan request but she did not. She processed it anyway, dinged my credit report, all unnecessary! Please, hire new workers to save this place! It used to be a classy, well-run organization. Sad how it has fallen. read more

The Bank Itself Is Not Bad In Fact I Love It!! The problem is that this location has bad customer service and should really re-evaluate their employees because service is horrible there!!!!! Drove through the drive through, I was not greeted, the teller was upset that I sent the tube to her asking to put my money in an envelope (but why should we have to ask, most banks does so without being told), but before I could ask, she sent the tube back to me and had an attitude! When I called to complain all that was said was "I'm sorry to hear that".... Point is, you are better off making that trip to south Kinnickinic location if you want better service!!! read more

I don't really like this location. Maybe because the workers are behind glass? I'm not sure. I much rather go thru the Drive-Thru at this location. I've had good experiences when I go thru the drive-thru. This location is always packed so maybe that is the reason why I don't go inside. However, I much rather go to the location in Outpost Foods. read more

Was referred to them by a co-worker for an account and a emergency loan. Called a few times just to go over the details because the loan sounded too good to be true. Called the southside location and was told I had to put $100 deposit (I was told $5) and the details of the loan were completely diffrent from what was told to me. Fair enough, that 's why I called, BUT I'm OVER the bait and switch. I called the MLK location and spoke with Jessica who told me what I needed to know, but after applying and being denied I'm annoyed bc what SHE told me and what happened were 2 different things, whatever. What REALLY REALLY has me closing my account 4 days after I open it is what's advertised VS how they move. Customer service is less than desireable, I had to reiterate SEVERAL times to the teller (and over the phone) why I was there (just to put the deposit to open the account & apply for this loan) and DO NOT understand why I was questioned like I was trying to get over. I come in and say "I would like to put down a deposit for opening an account and apply for an emergency loan" and the teller LITERALLY asked me (after going back and forth why I was there) if I was opening the account JUST for the loan....what? Do you NOT advertise that you LOVE giving out loans blah blah blah??? But you act suspicious because someone WANTS to apply after being referred LOL!?! Anyway I called after waiting for a responce and got a less than enthused male that said "oh yea you've been denied" and when I asked when I was going to be notified, I was told "she would've gotten around to it"....I can't lol. I told them when I went in last friday that even though these reviews are old, in 2020 my experience with them ALREADY reflects A LOT of what people are saying. In addition to when I got home my online banking wasn't set up correctly, and I had to call to have it reset smh. I'm opening an account with educators and closing this one. Just because I'm already OVER this bank. Two Thumbs ALL the the way DOWN! read more

Management is pretty inconsistent. Saying one thing the first visit then something completely different later on which causes us stress. Tellers are always very friendly and helpful though. read more

I do not recommend this credit union at all! When I call the Bayview location I'm always put on hold and for quite a bit of time. Also, be warned: when you first open an account, they hold your check for 30 BUSINESS days. That means you only are able to access very little money until these 30 days are over. The check I put in came from a previous bank (wasn't hand written) and they still held it. Crazy! As soon as I get access to my money I am closing my account with them!! read more

I started my checking and savings account maybe two months ago. I have never worked with a credit union just delt with normal banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo and Guaranty. I left Guaranty do to horrible customer services. I still have my chase account and use it for any online purchases due to never having issues with fraud. I decided to open Brewery when I cancelled Guaranty and I do regret it. I figured it was no different then my chase account since during opening my account not much information was charged besides overdraft fees and that is only because I asked her about it. She had asked if I wanted to order checks I said yes. a month an a half later never received my checks. called to the bank because I was worried but they said they would have the person who opened my account call me back but she never did. I had also asked them why I wasn't able to withdraw 500.00 from my account through an atm and they told me their max was 250 and I could only increase it as a one time exception. Later that day stopped at the bank found out they never ordered my checks. Withdraw limit can be increased permanently however my card would not be insured. :-/ now I have been using my debit card an have been getting charged 1.50 for transactions at regular stores. called the bank and they said I can only use debit 10 times a month other wise I get charged. SERIOUSLY another thing you don't tell your customer. Very unprofessional. I cant wait to get my next direct deposit so I can cancel them. These are things you should always tell your customers. Especially when you are charging me to use my own money. Ridiculous. I don't understand what the big fuss of credit unions are biggest they are worst than larger banks. They charge you for everything and there customer service is horrible.... read more
