However, when my CDs came due, I gave verification of a higher percentage to the Oak Creek branch. Now, I'm told that because I have only been a member of Summit since 2023, the "Internal Dept." (this is the title I was given to use) will not give me the extra percentage. What possible difference in the length of time at Summit would even matter??? I'm very disappointed with the Internal Dept. in not standing true to what two families were told when opening up accounts and CDs. I would like a response to my complaint. BUT OAK CREEK, BE AWARE.

I stopped in this week to open another checking account which I need to do before year's end. They let me know that despite clearly having office space for 5 or more workers, they could not accommodate me because I didn't have an appointment. Note: they were not staffed. First available appointment was January 3 by phone. If it's by phone, it could be originated anywhere, so why such a long wait? Anyway, I went to another branch 10 miles away and got the new account in 10 minutes.

You might not mind it, but I'm a college professor so when I'm not working I don't like to be surrounded by college students. Yech. But this place has highly competent, efficient and pleasant tellers and counselors. Much lower rates than the big evil banks who should not be forgiven for what they did to the national economy in 2008. I just finished paying off a home improvement loan from UW Credit Union and I really appreciate the help they gave me to fix up my bathroom. The one drawback of this location is parking but if you're in this neck of the woods anyway, it's otherwise pretty good.

From the moment I entered the front door I felt I was being treated like 'days of old,' when I was Managing Executive of a Bank in New York's Westchester County. Not one, not two, but three individuals welcomed me with just about everything but cash samples. Not like where I currently bank jammed with customers, lines and having to enter and leave through "lock box" doors. Good reasons why I just might chase my money over to PNC. Some decent possibilities here that I am willing to consider and that customer service, wow!!!

There is no, absolutely no way, to message/email anyone at BMOHarris. All the 'Contact Us' links lead to a nationwide phone number. When I called that number, they tried and tried (so they said) but they were unable to cancel my account. So I just withdrew all the money but the account is still active. Holding my breath waiting for them to charge me for the privilege of having an open account with no money. Don't know if they can reach into my active account at another bank to steal their fee. i have had nothing but problems with this bank. What I am reporting here is illegal and it should…read morecause everyone to think twice about doing business with this institution. Very simple. i made a payment a few weeks ago for the full balance of my account. It was for a big amount and it was drawn from my bank. I made a similar large payment from the same account months ago without any problems. This time, the bank put a block on my card WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME and the card stopped working without notice, leaving me without my primary form of payment. This means that auto payments on my account were being rejected, damaging my reputation with my creditors. They even kept the BLOCK on my card AFTER THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENT. When I called the Bank, the representative told me that she couldn't do anything about this because of their "system." A supervisor finally lifted the hold, but the card still did not work. When I called back, I was frustrated and direct. I did not use bad language and I was not rude. She made it personal, and started lecturing me and hung up. A person like this has no business in customer service, especially if they cannot harness their own obvious insecurities. She should be fired. I have had nothing but problems with this institution. The same thing will happen to you.
