One of them is pretty large and keeps the older kids busy (though my toddler loves to try to keep up). Bunch of climbing options, various slides, swings, and monkey bars. Down the path, you'll find a smaller play-set more suitable for the young kiddos, along with a cute home-made style jeep, merry-go-round, and even more swings. The creek here runs through park and there are plenty of paths to explore. You'll also find people picnicking, or just hanging out to read on a shady bench. It is a perfect place to hang out with friends due to it being in the middle of a neighborhood and the recessed center makes it private. In recent years, they've begun getting some big headliner concerts here (in addition to watching the beloved Brewers) which is a welcome addition to the Milwaukee entertainment lineup. They've also changed up the local eateries and I love that Ian's pizza is now an option. Whether it's the tailgate scene, the food, the beer, or the view of the field--life doesn't get much better than an afternoon at the ballpark. Get to it!

I did almost forget to activate the pass once onsite. I took a picture of where we parked but then I forgot to note what entrance we came in. We eventually found our way out after talking to a few employees. We had seats in the 400 section and made a few stops along the way. We stopped at food booth where you grabbed your food and then rang yourself up which proved to be pretty efficient. My nieces enjoyed some dippin dots later in the game. With already going to my one game for this early in the season, there is a chance I'll get there for a 2nd one!

I was looking to take my kiddo out before we headed into Sam's Club, and this park was nearby and seemed like a good stop. It was indeed! The playground is an all for one design, with no separate little kids side or big kids side, which is just fine. Variety is the key with this setup. For slides, there is one big enclosed twirl slide (my two year old loved this one), one three person slide, and a two person slide. For climbing into the playground, you can walk up the back of a crocodile, tackle the climbing wall, or take the variety of ladders, including one that goes into the middle of the roost. As well, there are two swings. One for toddlers, one for big kids. It's nothing crazy, it's not brand new, but it is well designed and maintained. Trees line the playground and basketball court, so there is plenty of shade. Parking is just on the street, no parking lot here. As well, the bathrooms are on the opposite end of the park from the playground, instead of centrally located. Other than that, the park is great for your traditional neighborhood park. We'll be back for sure.

There's a nice baseball field, reasonably clean restrooms, a nice balance of open meadow - cut grass and light forest. It's a long curving park with ample parking, lots of dogs with their humans visit here but I've never stepped in any irresponsibility so that says something about the people who frequent this park. Mosquitoes were a little aggressive but what are you going to do, a creek runs through the middle.

This year they have added a dance team, The Dockettes, and they raise the entertainment level. It was lots of fun, from dancing to supporting the players and revving up the fans. This weekend the Dockhounds became The Flying Monkeys, in honor of the anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. The first fans in got a Bobblehead of Tin Man Louis!!! Such silly fun, and then out came the bat-dog! Lots of things happening all through the game, so bring the kids and have fun!

After attending more than two dozen games at nearby Franklin Field, I have a good feel for their…read morestadium in terms of in game entertainment, concessions, amenities, atmosphere, and views of the game. Though I've now only been to Wisconsin Brewing Company Park twice, making informed comparisons isn't hard. Van and Jim are more entertaining announcers at Franklin Field than the pair of guys they have at WBC Park and Bo Vine is the better mascot (sorry, Louie). The Carpentier Agency Tabletops, Captain's Deck, and Baird Wealth Management Club at WBC Park are all nicer premium seating options than the Hop Yard and Ascension Club Level at Franklin Field, mostly due to their proximity to the field itself (the Hop Yard is way out in left field at Franklin Field). The Baird Wealth Management Club in particular is large and super nice inside. The concessions at WBC Park are better in terms of selection and FAR better in terms of quality compared to Franklin Field. They also have more concessions stands than Franklin Field. The main concessions stands at WBC Park are under the seating area, though, which prevents you from seeing any of the game while waiting in line, while all of the concessions stands are Franklin Field have a view of the game due to their open concept stadium. The seats at Franklin Field are wider compared to the seats at WBC Park, which is easily more comfortable than narrow seats. Additionally, if you're sitting low down in the seating area at WBC Park, your view could be blocked momentarily by people walking past as the concourse is at the bottom of the seating area right behind the dugouts instead of at the top of the sections like at Franklin Field. Both parks have seating areas with couches; Franklin Field's are at the top of the seating area while they're field level in right field at WBC Park, which seems more cool. The music and sound bites between pitches at WBC Park sound like they're using whatever royalty free music they can get their hands on while Franklin Field uses more modern music. The entertainment at Franklin Field is more fan oriented with various games between contestants almost every inning while WBC Park seems to prefer less fan interaction in their between inning entertainment (cheerleaders performed three separate times during our most recent visits). WBC Park does have kids activities in right field while Franklin Field doesn't consistently have kids activities (outside the aforementioned between inning games). Everything said, there are aspects of Wisconsin Brewing Company Park that I like and dislike. No ballpark is perfect, but this one is pretty good.
