Have patronized this Brew for Less (independent with owners experienced and on site) for two decades and have always received excellent service, special orders availability, and knowledgeable staff. A small but packed store for the home brewing enthusiast. Many different kits to make your own beer or wine, as well as supplies. A perfect place to head first if you want to get into this hobby. However, it would have been nice to have been acknowledged by staff. read more

What an awesome place! This is the best stocked store i've found around town and the girl working there was so happy to help. I came in for one simple thing to finish a brew but left with much more after wandering and drooling for a while. The lady there gave me some good tips about different brew kits and i'm going to take her advice next time i'm ready to start one up. I'm bringing my brew friend here. I've been coming here since 1990 when it was also a grocery store as well as a wine making store. Family oriented. Community oriented. Owners and staff are very knowledgeable and very kind. Lots of repeat customers. read more

I needed a new hobby . Good choice. I am on my 6-7 batch of wine. Each more delicious than the last. The owner and all the people working there R super freindly and well informed. Brew for Less is my go-to store for wine making supplies and assistance. With their help, I've made 7 batches of wine this year (from locally grown fruit) and the two I made last year were fantastic! Highly recommend them if you want to become an urban vintner too! read more

BFL has been on the same corner since the early 1960's. We started out as a grocery store "Great West Foods" and converted to a 100% wine & beer making supply store.

I have been making wine from fresh grapes with my family since I was very young. I always loved the art behind the wine & science that is applied to it now. Since graduating high school in the early 2000's, I have been devoted to making our wine shop number 1 in Edmonton! The staff super knowledgeable with wine making and super friendly. This summer is my first time try to get use of my cherries and raspberries. I went to few stores and found this is the best ! The things are way cheaper than other stores. I don't know how to make wine, she tried to give my all information I needed to start with, and also she gave me her company card, asked me to call her anytime. She also recommended me a lot of things so I do not spend unnecessary stuffs to start making my Sour cherries wine. Sour cherries wine are SUPER AWESOME. All Edmonton people should use the sour cherries or raspberries , try to make wine , it is super easy ! I love to visit the store again ! read more

Awesome brew store!! I just moved to Edmonton from Ontario where I have been my whole life. Brew For Less is like the shops we have done east. Huge selection and great one on one service!!
