I went in looking for a birthday cigar. The lady working took me in to the humidor and when my girlfriend went to close the door, she said "I'm allergic keep it open" to me this is a major red flag can you imagine how much humidity they lose? The door was open for 5 minutes, but if she's doing that with all the customers several times a day, the cigars are going to suffer. And... they do. I picked out a Cuban, and feeling rushed as she said she might pass out, I didn't have time to look over the cigar. When I left I noticed the wrapper to be dry and cracked. I was very upset and the cigar burned very poorly, a waste of a beautiful cigar. If you are going to buy cigars from here, double check the condition, and to let the cigar rest in your humidor for a few days. I wouldn't smoke their cigars straight from the store. They had a great selection and good prices. It's just upsetting that the cigars aren't giving the right care. read more

Nottingham is my go to shop for anything cigar related from cigars themselves to boveda packs, humidors and everything in between. I have purchased at the sherwood park store even though it is a bit of a drive from my southside home. This location is much more convenient. I just popped down there and the guy who is working there was very helpful and knowledgeable. I normally go to hav-a-cigar but this is much better, the prices are more reasonable than normal for cigars and can tell you it is currently going down smoothly.....that may be because it's accompanied by vodka but it can't hurt read more

My stepdaughter (age 21) worked for these people (Sandeep & Renu Malhotra). They had her regularly working 12 hour days (picking supplies for their stores). During this time Mr. Malhotra asked my stepdaughter to talk to his wife about having a threesome as he felt his wife might be more agreeable if a woman asked him. My stepdaughter was horrified and, needless-to-say, felt extremely uncomfortable. She ended up quitting. Now they are refusingto pay her (33 hours) and will not answer any texts, etc from her. She has gone to Employment Standards, and they have informed her that they will be investigating. I have also suggested to her that she go to Edmonton Police Service to ask them about the sexual harassment on the job. I phoned the business to talk to Mr. Malhotra about the situation. I asked for Mr. Sandeep Malhotra, however the man on the phone (which I am 100% sure was him), refused to let me talk to Mr. Malhotra unless I told him exactly what I wanted to discuss. He was extremely rude. Facing such intense rudeness, I asked him if this was what his business felt customer service was. He, in a condesending tone, told me that I was probably not even alive when customer service was invented. Due to the awful behaviour of this man, I decided to hang up. There is no way that anyone should be supporting a business that considers these practices to be acceptable. Unfortunately, my stepdaughter (who is a university student and trying to pay for school and make ends meet) has been left battling to receive the money legally owed to her. (It has now been over a month since she quit so past the "31 consecutive days after the last day of employment" for her to have been paid.) read more
