This place completely blew my expectations out of the water. From Ashs' immense knowledge to the incredible selection of cigars and accessories, this place truly is an experience all of itself. The passion for these cigars and his extremely approachable demeanor is what separates Ash from many other locations. The hours of this business rivals(and trumps) the hours or most businesses in Edmonton, let alone most tobacconists. The owner himself is polite, forthright, knowledgeable and was more than accommodating when I called ahead and was on a schedule that interfered with his. I called and had a brief conversation with him explaining to him that I was half an hour away, and he held the store open for me, despite his posted hours. Dedication to the customers is huge in my books, and he nailed it. His selection is of cigars is very fair and has grown since I first visited. There are other tobacco products available here, as will as whatever you need to enjoy them (cutters, lighters, humidors, tobacco pipes,etc.) This place is a dream find on the North end of the city, you won't be sorry for visiting and supporting them. read more

Just got back from Tobacconist Havana at Manning Crossing. The shop is better then most with its walk in cedar Humidor room, very fresh cigars and large selection. I just bought a medium size humidor from them as well, quite a selection to choose from even travel versions. The owner Ash is very knowledgeable on all types of products sold here as well which is a definite plus when it comes to browsing the shop. I really enjoy the Italian Toscanos, same cigar Clint Eastwood smoked in most of his classic spaghetti westerns. 2 thumbs up to this shop. Give it a shot. read more

This is a great cigar shop. The walk in humidor is amazing and the selection of Cuban cigars is superb. Every time I come here I know that my cigar is going to be absolutely perfect. The owner is very polite and he knows more about cigars than anyone I've ever met. This is the real deal if you are looking for quality. read more
