Staff are friendly, helpful, & patient. I altered my reservation several times (even confusing myself) before & after arrival. A special thanks to ALEX. Thanks for being so good at what you do ALEX!! Well designed, clean, streamlined, & easy to locate, & parking lot is spacious & can accommodate large vehicles. (I drove an RV.). Spacious common area, dinning area, & lounge. Both storage room for luggage & gear are very organized & perfect as it's on the way in and out of the main entrance. Well stocked & clean kitchen. Cafe in lobby has lattes & espressos with basic breakfast sandwiches& snacks made in house. Serves beer. The bus (all snowboarders & skiers take this) stop picks up/drops off directly in front of hostel & goes to Creekside & Whistler Village etc.. Boyfriend booked this Resort in Whistler where we would be within walking distance of the Blackcomb…read moreslopes, Upper Village, several restaurants, shops, and a neat little market place that sells fresh vegetables and coffee grounds. + Complimentary wifi, but so slow. - Our room had a mildewy smell. It opened up to the outside, like a balcony without the balcony. It has a microwave, a coffee maker (no filters), one spoon, and a fridge. + Our twin beds basically took up the whole room and we used one bed to lay out all of our items - Parking is underground for $15 a night. Steep, but at least you don't have to deal with the snow. We never really figured out if we could park for free at night on Lots 4 and 5, the free day lots. + Housekeeping comes by on the third day or so + Swimming pool is heated, hot tub is heated. Both are outdoors. I banged my knee trying to get indoors as fast as I could from the outdoor hot tub. + The bathroom floor is heated. We loved it and spent an unacceptable amount of time lounging in the bathroom. - The toilet flush is so weak it can't even handle the tissue paper. We never had to use the plunger but a plunger is provided. - The walls are thin. We could hear music playing and the toilets flushing from our neighbors. + Store your skis and snowboard at Affinity Rentals, which re-opens at 8am. If you are heading out early, check your boards in at the front desk. Based on the price and the negatives mentioned above, boyfriend and I decided this resort was just a-okay.
