    Gill&dill, maple, and shake&bacon

This has always been my favorite spot in the way to or from Homer. It's a perfect middle ground stop point plus the waffles are amazing. My personal fave has always been the shake and bacon with a mustard maple glaze and bacon inside the waffle and it's truly the best. I dream about it. The ambience is an old train car and it's really family friendly and a perfect fun pit stop

So fun and unique! An absolutely beautifully restored rail care. Great service and just as important -- a delicious latte. Thank you!

Closes is the maple waffle, the further one is the mother clucker. Highly recommend the mother clucker.

Such a neat environment! Had a great lunch there. The waffles are so good & came out pretty quick! Very lite and fluffy. They also make great coffee was really impressed with my maple latte!

Maple and lemon waffles with a hot chocolate with Carmel sauce.

The waffles and drinks are delicious! Best service ever today! The order arrived quickly!

Cute and fun coffee shop in an old train car. Ordered a Lemon Drop waffle- crispy outside and soft inside.

This place is super charming! Lovely music, happy, positive and friendly personnel. It's a rainy day here in Soldotna, and this place feels sunny. Thank you for creating such beautiful environment and yummy food. Great coffee and yummy waffles. Recommended !!!

Northern Lights Latte w/ Lavender - so good!

Anytime I'm in town I have to stop here. Their waffles are so good, especially the savory waffles. The Shake 'N Bake waffle is amazing. The Conductors Cap with torched sugar is my favorite, but the Northern Lights Latte with lavender is also great. It's just a fun place with a cool vibe and different from your ordinary coffee shop. You have to try it!

    Cute signage

Great coffee shop! Staff was super friendly and helpful. I had the Honey Bee Latte and the Lemon Drop Waffle, both absolutely delicious! And you get to enjoy it in a train car!

Location: I love that it's in a train car. It made the experience fun and unique. Mother Clucker: best chicken and waffles I've had in a long time. I think what I like best about it is that the chicken is inside the waffles so it's easy to eat and you taste everything at once. I will definitely get it again. Hot chocolate: good for kids with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Sugar Daddy: very sweet latte but perfect for me. I like the sweetness and smoothness of it. Northern lights: I thought I would like this drink because I've had lavender tea and drinks before. I didnt particularly care for this one. It was so hard to drink because the lavender was overwhelming and a bit bitter. I was expecting a more subtle taste. Even though this drink wasn't for me, maybe it's perfect for someone else, so I'm not going to let it effect the overall rating. Overall: 5/5

Mother Clucker , Gill and Dill, two delicious cappuccinos, and one fabulous husband.

Okay. I did not think I would come to Alaska and have the best waffles in my life. I am still in awe of how good they were. Light, moist, tender, texture just right. We hade the mother clucker and the Gill and dill. These waffles are neatly cut in quarters and are meant to be eaten with your hands. The fresh dill and light and creamy tartar sauce on the Gill and dill was a fabulous touch. The smoked salmon inside was well seasoned and tender. The fresh dill made everything pop, the chicken in the mother clucker was also tender and neatly chunked, cooked well and in small uniform bites. We were cheerily greeted and felt very welcome. So impressed with this place. Well done. We will be back and heartily recommend.

    Sit up top!

We arrive and the line of folks waiting for seating is quite long and disorganized. Eventually someone comes out and tells everyone to all their name to the list of people that is accumulating. Hmm... this does not bode well. We wait about a half hour for our name to be called. When we are finally seating or drinks come promptly, but then we are forgotten for over 10 minutes. No one mentions them being out of anything. And of course, they're out of the one thing I want. Now I'm pissed. And I'm hearing they say its going to be about a 45 minute wait. We're starving. I should also mention, I am an VERY patient person. But as a basic standard, I do expect restaurant staff to communicate regarding delays and if they are out of things. Send help. I don't know if we are ever going to eat. Look for the skeletons setting toward the back of the restaurant. ‐‐----------------- Update: Upgrading from 1 star to 1.5 since we finally ate. The food was fine. I see why everything takes so long- way too much time on presentation for diner food. It was fine, but absolutely not worth the wait. Like at all. It was a chef salad, and a french toast not a work of art. These things should not involve a greater than one hour wait. And they forgot my salad dressing, so I had to track down the waitress to request it. Dear lord, help me. Cannot recommend.

It hit hard after a long day of fishing. We had the pickle planks as an appetizer and mmm pickles, fresh dill and chipotle sauce on wood fired bread. Wow flavor! It's basically a pizza cut is strips. For dinner we had the Baja board which is a taco board either chicken or steak and the flavor of the meat was bursting. On the other hand the lone star pizza is a sweet bbq with a twist with a thicker crust which was so fluffy and crunchy. The over 21 drinks are wider in range compared to the other breweries in town and much more flavorful. Overall 10/10 would recommend. So, my neighbour has been nagging me for some time now to call in to "that place with the railcars"…read morejust outside of Soldotna, but I'd not yet been. Though she hadn't mentioned there was a restaurant, she raved about the coffee shop and waffles. So my friend and I were coming to Soldotna last weekend, and me, as usual, am frantically searching Yelp for something with 4/5 stars. Addie Camp came up as a contender, with a solid 4.7 stars, but I hadn't realised it was where the railroad cars are. So we decided to give it a go. What a beautiful area it is, once you get up into the parking lot! It's very neat and tidy, and all the little railroad cars surround the central parking lot. And there's really massive solar panels to the rear. I liked that. There was not a scrap of trash anywhere. Very inviting. So we head into Addie Camp, and I'm wowed. It's beautiful inside, cosy and welcoming, yet very modern. The staff are lovely. The hostess asked if we had a reservation, but as we didn't she invited us to sit at the bar. No problem! They have tables upstairs, and in a railroad car to the side. It's absolutely beautiful, and features a lot of warm wood, but not old wood, very light modern wood. I tell you, I'm in love with this place. Anyway so we sit at the bar, where Sam was mixing cocktails. Sam is very pleasing on the eye, I might add. He was using Fevertree Tonic in one of the cocktails, and I told him that Fevertree's Elderflower Tonic is one of my fave drinks ever, and he said he loved it too. Anyway, so upon perusing the menu - it's not a huge menu, but there are plenty of things I'll eat - I ordered the Gold Star Elk Burger with rosemary fries, and my friend got Gambas Al Ajillo (Spanish style wild Patagonia Shrimp in a spicy olive and herb citrus sauce served with fancy bread) and we both opted for a Train Track Tonic Mocktail, mainly because Sam the bartender told me he had elderflower syrup, and it was featured in one of the mocktails, so I was sold. The napkins are fabric, and the silverware is fancy, heavy, not your usual restaurant fare. I was quite impressed with how quickly we were served, because it was quite busy. The food itself was outstanding. The bacon jam in this burger is EPIC and it's not your usual tiny bacon crumbles, it had chunky bits of bacon, and was sweetly gooey, but savoury too, absolutely the best bacon jam I've had, and it just gave the already amazing burger a boost it didn't even really need. There's no way to eat this burger in a dainty ladylike fashion, it's a beast, and the bacon jam is messy, but I went with it, and Sam got us some extra napkins. About 3/4 of the way through, I had to go knife and fork on the burger. I wasn't leaving any of that thing. The fries were good, the burger good, the mocktail good, excellent service, very attentive. This is unquestionably THE best restaurant on the Kenai Peninsula, and I can't wait to come back with my husband, next time we're down there. And, I did see regulars come in and be treated like they were old friends. After my experience there, I can see why people would keep coming back, it's THAT good!

Overall The food is not worth the price. Everything is under seasoned. The menu is weird.. Hummus is random ! The Salad is fresh but bland. Beet shavings had maybe 3 super thin pieces the size of a 5" long spaghetti and also needed salt/pepper . The curry was so so. Food is meh mediocre at best. Other than being forced to sit at one of the edge tables so they could start mopping, I think the wait staff was fine, although the noise from the kitchen sucked. All that said, I wouldn't go back. And IMHO it's not the fault of any one waitress, it's management's fault. FWIW this review is by a local during winter.
