The Main St guys know what they're doing and the prices are fair. The shop is always busy with many cars in the lot waiting for service. They are great in person but communication isn't their strength, we typically need to stop back to learn status of a repair. Still, it's super convenient to have a repair shop in Mackinaw City.

They gave me a fair estimate for parts and labor, and they also pulled the dents out of my car so I could open my door free of charge. They did an exceptional job repairing my vehicle and it looks brand new. Additionally, my car was messy when I dropped it off to them and when I got my car back, my car was immaculately clean! Wiped down the interior, vacuumed all the crud from my carpets, and cleaned my windows. They are an obvious choice for excellent service.

We called every shop in the area and no one had the time to even look at our car until we called Chad, the owner of Patriot Repairs. Chad said he would take a look at our car. Chad figured out that our battery was improperly installed and had to order a new battery for our car. He got us back on the road when no one even wanted to take a look at our car. Chad is a former Marine and he displayed every trait you would expect of our service members. I would recommend Chad and his shop to anyone in Michigan or visiting the area. Chad could have very easily taken advantage of our predicament. We had limited time and no idea what was wrong with our car. And our battery was less than a year old! We did not expect the battery to be the issue but the improper installation melted one of the terminals causing our car to fail on us. Thank you Chad and I wish you the best of luck in the future. My wife felt something while braking our 2013 Prius V with 118K miles. So I called up Boyne City…read moreBrake to ask their opinion. Caleb invited me to stop by and have the vehicle looked at and test driven. A couple hours later I did just that. The man at the front desk, Joe, listened to my description of what I perceived as a potential 'issue' and we took the car for a drive up and down M-75 for 15 minutes. Joe drove and did some things one does to check if the issue could be a bad bearing or not. He noticed nothing unusual during that test or while braking. Upon arriving back at the shop he put it up on a lift to do a visual inspection of the rotors and pads. Not only did he not find anything, he pointed out to me what great condition the entire mechanism was in. He said the pads were good with at least 80% life left. Rotors were good looking, no scoring or corrosion. No charge, just good customer service. For someone like me who is new to the area I need to know service providers who are trustworthy and willing to win my business. Really made my day as brake jobs are not cheap. He invited me to stop by anytime if anything at all seems fishy. I will.
