My interaction with them has always been cooperative when they had problems which is NOT true with many customers that I service in four states. Unfortunately, happy people don't write reviews and the people that rely on Kamper tire to service their community are VERY HAPPY! They do not care about reviews. I think these people must be great-- maybe not city polished--or they would not be in business. Give them a chance to prove it , or not, when you have a problem. I suspect they can help you.

Essentially, the driver and company made off with two payments.This was brought up to the secretary working at Kamper who claimed the comcheck wasn't valid (even though it was cashed). The Main St guys know what they're doing and the prices are fair. The shop is always busy with many cars in the lot waiting for service. They are great in person but communication isn't their strength, we typically need to stop back to learn status of a repair. Still, it's super convenient to have a repair shop in Mackinaw City.

My interactions with everyone at the shop was professional and cordial. This shop was clearly very busy. Most of my interaction was with the owner Lance. He was straight forward and honest. I never felt like they were trying to charge me inappropriately. The work done was solid and now I have my car back in great shape. Honestly it's running better than it did before. There is always a silver lining to things that happen and mine was that my car broke down close to this shop. The work done was awesome.
