There's a cool small park/playground area that I took my daughters to over the break. We had a good time it is a pretty solid small park it has a good playground with swings and slides so they enjoy doing that. It's one of our favorite things to do is visiting local parks and let them slide and the kids and have fun so that's what we did and this is you know a pretty good area for sure nice clean park that I would highly suggest

Nice little park nestled in by Payne and Lexington. They have a water foutain play area for the kids in the summer-I always see a lot of families walking back from the park with their bathing suits on during the hot months. They have swings and a play area for the little ones. A very large grassy area that you can play frisbee in-the only problem is the mowing is not kept up with. (grass itches me if I am in the long stuff) They have picnic tables and garbages and restrooms/drinking fountain. I have been there when people are having birthday parties or other get togethers with their families. There is a paved path that runs around the outside of the park and the butts up against the wall of the cemetary-which is barbed wire fence. The park does allow dogs, at least we have not had any issues with our's being there with us while on a leash.

It's hard to hate any park. This park is another hit and if you're in Danville, it's a must stop…read more Every time I'm in the area, I always stop here. This park starts off with numerous baseball fields which I assume that little leagues use throughout the summer. Spread out around the park are a few small children's playgrounds. The organized sports and fun for the kids: Check! Near the middle of the park there is this decent sized pond with a fountain. Also ducks! Lots of ducks! Different ducks! Friendly ducks! Did I mention there are ducks? Benches and swings are all around the pond. It's the perfect place to take a daytime date to relax. Date/Nature/Pond: Check! On one side of the park and out of the way you'll find a small skate park. It is tiny and they really should expand it for the skaters in the area. They have more than enough room and it's hard to find great places to skate. Alternative activity space: Check! On the other side is a paved path that circles the park. It's a great path, but I wish it wasn't just a flat and winding path. They should install more trees or other things to admire. This path is surrounded by grass and only grass. I think this park could benefit from more trees, plants, and flowers. There is a gazebo on one side of the park in this area. There is also a dog park tucked away. The only reason this park gets a 4 instead of a 5 is because of wasted space. There's a lot of underutilized space that could be made beautiful here. I'm surprised anytime I talk to someone from the area and they have no idea that the park exists. Everyone from Danville and the surrounding area should use this park! No excuses!

This is a beautiful park located in Danville, KY. There are many facilities, a paved walking trail,…read morerolling hills, and a great fenced in dog park area. I've even looked up in the trees and caught a glimpse of an individual climbing high up in a tree! There is also a beautiful pond with a fountain. If you are in the Danville area, this is a great park to take your family or go for a run on your own.
