I've called three times in the past month the first time was to find out court details. The second time was for information on an email address that I can send files to on the third time was a question about my case all the times that I've called that secretary has been rude snarky, and so matter of fact. When I asked her a question, she laughed like if I was stupid and responded really smartly. I have recommended three clients to this firm so far but I want anymore because to me customer service is everything. Obviously the attorneys are busy. They have hundreds of cases I'm sure so she's the go too person for small questions and if she's gonna laugh or be a smart ass about it, she's being unprofessional and very unhelpful. Makes me not want to call this attorney. And if you can't call your attorney, that's a problem.

I had a domestic dispute with a caregiver at my home that resulted in the need for the police to…read morecome and remove the despondent ex-employee. When the Fullerton police arrived they barged in began questioning me as if I was some criminal (I'm a C5 quadriplegic with no left arm) I was in a very unnatural painful position and lacking water of which they made no effort to help me with. The police, as they grilled me with the same questions repeatedly, began searching my house, top to bottom, finally after searching every room cupboard and closet they went into my gun room and decided to take all the guns and ammunition left out in open sight which amounted to 5 long guns and several boxes of ammunition and told me the reason for taking them was because for the fear of my despondent ex-employee from coming back and harming me. After hours of holding a keeping my sister from helping me, under supervision they finally let her put clothes on me position me comfortably and give me water. I instantly felt better. They kept us both in my room while searching the house. After the bomb squad left they gave me an incorrect incomplete list of what they were taking. The next day I called a long time friend and attorney and told him my horrible experience the night before. He spoke with another friend and attorney and they both agreed that the man for the job was definitely Ed Welbourn! I call his office and made an appointment. During my meeting I met the whole team of C W S Attorneys at Law. They explained how they worked and the kind of work they do, how long they've been lawyers and what they needed from me. I told them what happened and gave them the entire 1 paper they gave me. Mr. Welbourne and Stokke looked up my case and that's how I found out that the police had charged me with 4 felony counts one of which was possession of an automatic weapon and one of an explosive device as well as a silencer and illegal .50BMG ammunition. Ed had explained that he would have to look into the case fully before he could decide if he could help me. I assured him that I had never had anything of the sort and that due to their inexperience and incompetence they were wrong. Ed and Al told me they'd take my case. They told me the cost and considering the charges, my condition and the consequences I agreed. I have to say, as I've said before in my condition jail wasn't an option and for a very long time, I was scared, even though there was no way I was in the wrong. Also I have to say the cost to me was exceptionally reasonable! This long story short I appeared in court once and for almost a year, Ed appeared for me every time! He got the case thrown out of felony court into a lesser court and from there appearance after appearance he kept showing and proving that not only were the Fullerton Police in the wrong but so were the charges. In the end Ed Welbourne reduced this case to nothing, nada, ZIP! It's over and sealed as if nothing happened! I'm now in the process of getting everything returned that was confiscated by Fullerton Police Department. As far as I'm concerned Ed Welbourne is the Jason Bourne of the courthouse! Thank you Ed! Thank you Al! Thank you Cate!

Unprofessional at best. Extremely disappointed with the services of Robert Lamm. I had concerns…read morethat my parents' trust was out of date and might be negatively impacted by the newly passed Prop 19, so I made an appointment to meet him along with my mother. My brokerage featured him in a meeting regarding Prop 19 and real estate, I felt like we'd be in a safe pair of hands. Bob Lamm was cordial and voiced a willingness in the meeting to look over the trust and make recommendations. My mother left the documentation with him and told him that his expertise was valued and while not in a rush, we would the trust to be updated. He agreed and accepted the bound documents. One month went by, then another, nothing, not a phone call, no response whatsoever; I was so surprised to be dropped like that without a notion of what was happening. Honesty is the best policy, if the trust was not worth his time, Bob Lamm could have expressed this in a diplomatic fashion, my mother, while proud of her well organized leather bound trust is under no illusion that it is anything more than modest size and we would not be offended if he had been forthright and honest and recommended another company. Instead, I phoned the office 2.5 months after the initial meeting and left a message with the reception that we hadn't heard anything from Bob Lamm and that I would like to come by and pick up the trust. No response! A few weeks pass and I call the office again and ask when I can come by...the reception replies to my query says, "Oh, it's here, up in front". Really???? All the sensitive documents have been sitting up at the reception desk for goodness knows how long with NO ATTEMPT to contact me and let me know it is there? Wow. Wow. Message received, our business is not needed nor welcome. Bob Lamm's behavior was appallingly unprofessional and possibly in violation of some privacy protocols. Perhaps you'll have better luck with Cummins and White than we did...especially if your trust is worth more money.
