And they tell me the doctor has a stomach bug and when I insinuated is there nobody else she laughed and said well we can get the doctor to come in and work on you if you really want them working on you sick while laughing. So at this point, I asked her what is the cancellation policy if I canceled today day of appointment and she said $100 so I'm hoping to get $100 credit on my account because that's not fair for them to be able to do this for the third time This office was great at one time but now all I hear are excuses and people not knowing what they are doing getting multiple phone calls in one day to change an appointment. Keep an appointment. I'm pretty sure the doctor went away and he just called out sick today. UPDATE: they discontinued service with me because I told the truth about their service. Seems as though they cannot deal with brutal honesty. I was very clear over the phone that I did NOT want a full exam or additional services. This is not unusual for me. I typically get my teeth cleaned 3-4 times per year--twice through insurance and additional cleanings out-of-pocket. Jill and Olivia at this office have both handled these arrangements with me in the past without any issue. In this case, the office confirmed they would reach out if anything came up. Olivia later called and confirmed the appointment date, time, and the price--$150 for a cleaning only, no exam, no dentist required. At no point was there any indication that this arrangement would not be honored. When I arrived, the hygienist refused to perform the cleaning, suddenly claiming I needed to see the dentist first--something that was never communicated at any point prior. The office manager then came out, followed by the dentist. I explained that I've had this exact type of cleaning done at this office multiple times in the past without being required to go through an exam. The dentist's response was that it had been "allowed" previously, which only highlights how inconsistent their own policies are. What makes this worse is that I have in fact been seen within the past year--specifically in March 2025, June, and September. Despite that, the dentist claimed I had not been seen in over a year. At no point did anyone take the time to properly review or verify my records before refusing service. So as an established patient, I was turned away for a basic cleaning that was clearly scheduled, confirmed, and priced in advance--based on information that appears to be incorrect and without any effort to resolve it. What's most concerning is the lack of consistency and professionalism. I received one set of clear instructions and confirmations over the phone, only to be told something completely different once I arrived. Over time, visits here have also felt increasingly transactional. Appointments often include repeated recommendations for additional products or services--whether requested or not--which creates the impression that the focus is more on selling than on providing straightforward care. In this case, instead of receiving a simple cleaning before an international trip, I was denied service altogether with no attempt to find a solution or offer any reasonable path forward. Dr. Viechnicki is has probably the greatest bed side manner of any doctor I've ever met in my entire life hands down! He explains all the procedures in detail at every visit and is more than happy to answer any questions. My son absolutely adores him and appreciates the fact that he always tells him what's going on during the adjustments and prepares him when he might do something that might hurt. Kayleigh at the front desk is incredible as well and worked extra hard to make sure I am getting the most from my insurance. She is always friendly and helpful and was incredibly accommodating the one time I needed to come in for an unscheduled appointment to fix a brace that had come loose. There are also fun little touches that the staff does like "coins" earned for each appointment, "guess the # of candy" contests and meticulously writing up each kid's name on the front board during their birthday month.
