4 Stars for the theatre itself. It's a non-profit, one screen, reasonable ticket prices ($12 for…read moreadult tickets, $4 for popcorn, unheard of these days), and decently comfortably seats. Sitting in the front row might actually be the move! Another hot tip - get there at least 20-30 minutes early to secure tickets and your preferred seats as it is a small theatre. But I don't plan on going back anytime soon, and it's because of the patrons. The people next to us were talking at the movie (were they deranged, maybe?), not even pretending to whisper. And then all around us people were checking their phones, kept hearing alerts, seeing the bright light of their small screens light up their spot. Multiple people dropped their phones throughout the movie. Ultimately, while I was able to enjoy the movie, I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's just not worth it to me, and I'd much rather wait to see movies at home. Something changed us as a society after the Pandemic. This probably makes me a miserly old woman, so take my complaints with a grain of salt as you should any review on here.

Crystal Theatre is a cozy little theatre with one screen. The Crystal opens 15 minutes before each showing and closes 15 after the movie. Admission is $7.50 for adults and $6.50 for kids/seniors, which isn't too bad - you can use the money you saved on some milk duds. The staff is very nice and courteous. Oh, and about the those milk duds, they do have those. As well as popcorn, red vines, sodas, and other goodies, all at low prices. Few problems I had: This theatre only has one to two showings a day Only one movie every few weeks Overall not that bad of a theatre, I give it a two and half thumbs up.

The newly renovated Ute is a jewel of a place in a small western Colorado town…read more The events they sponsor and the concerts they bring to the area makes this a must check out scene. The Ute was once an old movie theatre, and they were able to keep the history and ambience in place with the renovations. If you need to host an event of any kind, this is definitely the place to book. If you live in Rifle, passing through, or vacationing nearby, check out the weekly events and shows that are being offered. You won't be disappointed.

What a great venue for listening to a show. Great acoustics left a nice spot for dancing, which…read morewas very important with all the tables. All of the staff was so friendly except for the bouncer. Jake or Josh I think was his name, tall guy with earrings. I walked up to the venue with a Red Bull in my hand and he came out of nowhere and said you gotta get rid of that. You can't be here with that. He was so rude. There is a right way and a wrong way to tell somebody they can't have any outside beverages. I also watched him be just as rude to a family that was trying to leave with their cokes. Nobody likes a bouncer attitude. You can be much more polite. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this beautiful restored venue for seeing a show

What a fun, cool, nostalgic place to go. My hubs and I have been married for 38 years...and we've…read morenever gone to a drive-in in all of that time. Not since we were in high school...and that was with different dates. lol We were celebrating my birthday weekend and saw that Delta had this theater. We were giddy! They were showing Empire Strikes Back...which happens to be my husband's favorite Star Wars movie (yes, I was a good wife and gave in...but it was no sacrifice, believe me. I love the movie, too!) The very coolest thing was that, now and then during the evening, he and I would see shooting stars in the sky...plus, the very starry night of that dry area made the screen feel like it had no edge when the "outer space" scenes were happening. It was rather surreal, but a total blast! We felt like teenagers! The only problem with us particularly was, the speaker they provided cut in and out a lot during the movie. Yes, you have a radio station that you can tune into to get the audio, but our newer keyless, push-button-started car would power down after a bit to save the battery. So we tried to rely just on the drive-in speaker (which was also cool, cuz it added to the experience.) When the hubs ran back to the snack bar to let them know about the speaker, they gave us a little portable am/fm radio to use...and it was perfect!! (Gotta give them a valid I.D. in order for them to let you use the radio.) Overall, it was a BLAST!! And it was well attended as well...probably about 50 cars. Our movie started at 7:45 pm, but the gates opened at 7. When we got there, we were third in line and cars started lining up behind us quite soon thereafter. So if you want your pick of spots, get there a little bit before the gate opens. And be nice to the ticket seller lady...she kinda acts like she's been working there these many decades the theater has been open. :-)

The nostalgia alone is worth going! We went last night for the first time since the new owners took…read moreover. The popcorn was good and the drinks of course and candy... We didn't particularly like the hamburgers or the pizza. I wish they would fix the speakers because we couldn't get the app to work and I couldn't get the radio station to come in on my phone. We didn't turn on the radio in the truck because it didn't have a back window and we didn't know if we could hear it. We should've checked out a radio from the concession stand to use, but we didn't. But that is a really cool option that they have. The prices are great, and all of the staff members were super friendly and helpful.
