She gave me clear instructions for pick up and the product was better than expected! The chocolate cupcakes we ordered for my son's 6th " Harry Potter " birthday were awesome! He wanted chocolate, which worked great for HP's sorting hats and she even filled them with different colored buttercream to sort the kids into the four different Hogwarts houses. The kids loved the chocolate sorting hats on top and the extra fun of what color will be inside?? Thank you so much for making my son's 6th birthday extra magical. We will most definitely be ordering again in the future!

Wrapped it in Saran Wrap, then aluminum foil, and then put it in a ziplock bag. Stuck it in the freezer, and it tasted great even a year later! The fondant texture was a little mushy, but otherwise it was perfect! It was the cherry almond cake. We've also had their chocolate stout cupcakes, which are off the hook when paired with a nice dark beer! I don't think most couples can rave about yummy year-old cake, so this place gets 5 stars from me!

My…read moreunderstanding is that all she does is wedding cakes, and she has a show area with several faux cakes decorated so you can see her work in person. In addition, she has albums full of pictures and is quick to offer suggestions and customize a cake for you. Many of our guests said (and I agree) that it was simply the best wedding cake they had ever tasted. We chose an amaretto + mocha mouse layer and a lemon + raspberry layer that were both absolutely delicious. A unique feature of Marci's cake is that she layers the filling and cake several times, instead of just once like many other bakeries. As if that weren't enough, the decorations were beautiful. Marci prides her business on their ability to perfectly smooth butter cream icing onto a cake, and she wasn't kidding. They accented our layers with two sizes of brown ribbon, some pine cones, and a few fresh flowers. Simple, and beautiful!

The larger cake was for an engagement announcement & the small one was for our gluten free friends & family. The icing was blue and white marbled on the large cake, and white and CSU colors on the small cake. The icing did taste good and was worth 1 star. However, the baker did not put the couple's names on the engagement cake. There was 1" lettering saying congratuations along the top but nothing else on the top. The mini cake had the words I requested, for my son's graduation. The baker also had the cakes ready on time...sort of. That was worth the other star. I suggest you save $200 and order your cakes from the Walmart bakery. They can't do any worse.
