Upon booking, I received a personal email of staff reaching out to make sure I noted waterpark hours. What a great touch! When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. I enjoyed my sleep in the king size bed and thought it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in recently. I also enjoyed the fact that they have a fridge and microwave. The waterpark happened to be open around the time we arrived so we made our way down to explore. Unfortunately we had a freak accident happen and my kiddo needed a trip to the ER. I was hands down impressed with how great the lifeguard, Kaya, on staff was. She came over right away and made sure things were handled well and guided me when I might not have been thinking in the most proper way. I'm still blown away at how calm and caring she was. I'm really hoping staff sees this review as well and gives her the praise that she should have! Even with the incident, we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back another time when we can fully enjoy it all! Tip: they even have a small arcade for the kiddos on floor #2. Perfect size for kids to check-out! Comfy beds, nice rooms, breakfast each morning, a nice renovated and beautiful waterpark, all close to so many restaurants and stores. This place is great! This year we stayed at LadySlipper Inn, and it was by far our favorite! The setting here is perfect - it's private and quiet. The Inn is on 2 spring-fed ponds with 2 rooms facing the pond and 2 rooms facing the morning sun. We stayed in the Tamarac Room which faces the pond (west). Because of Covid, breakfast was served in our room or on the deck. It was wonderful! We did have neighbors once, they were friendly, but private, which was exactly what we wanted. We spent a lot of time by the water - wading, paddle boating, kayaking, just walking around. . . We also had smores - which the owners provided the wood, lighting the fire, and the smore food and utensils. The owners are very nice, and have thought of just about everything. The main hallway even has lots of books available about the area, the wildlife, hiking, the state park - it was awesome. Even though I like to try out different locations, we will likely be back. It was just so relaxing! If you need to get away - this is the place.

We stayed for four days and were so pleased with our Suite providing us excellent views, even in frozen winter. Chris was an excellent host making us the most delicious breakfasts every morning. This is an architecturally unique place with gorgeous views and all types of rooms to relax, filled with thoughtful amenities. We got to tour many of the rooms all with private baths and nicely well done. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite- a romantic suite equipped with a double Jacuzzi and a two-person shower. It's so convenient on the (frozen) waters edge walking distance to downtown and dozens of restaurants. We walked to many of the restaurants. Thank you Chris for helping to make our 'pearl' anniversary at the Red Bridge Inn in Parks Rapids so special.

One of my coworkers stumbled on the red bridge (it's on the hiking trail system) and we have all made it our place to stay when in town for the last several years. Rooms are clean. I travel too much and that's important. Fairly good size. Well equipped with bathrooms etc. They are all different. It's a B&B with the hosts living off site which is not the norm. That makes it quiet!!! There are 7 rooms. The inn itself is on the river. Beautiful setting. Breakfast is what you want. I like a full breakfast. Bam. Friends like toast. What kind? I've seen folks get everything from 'just coffee' to a bowl of fruit or cereal. Just the way it should be Common areas are great. Large deck on the river. Large dining area- tables etc as well as a separate room with tables etc I suspect for meetings and groups. There's an area with couches and tv if that's your fancy. The deck is equipped with grills and a dock - it's on the river and they do rent boats. There's a hot tub. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a clean well run place to stay wether on vacation or travel for work. 5 stars for me!!

Rude staff that took no responsibility for the many things that went wrong during our week stay. My family and I rented 3 cabins 10 months in advance with Lakeside views. However, one of the cabins rented was tore down last fall. So instead of a 2 bedroom on the lake they gave us a one bedroom furthest from the Lake. So we were no longer all together. No apology, and no discount on the cabin. The owner(Tammy), just said, "it's not my fault." She tried to blame it on the fact that they are waiting for "State" to come out and approve the new cabin being built in its place. The new cabin wasn't even finished and we all had to listen to saws and construction the entire week. Basically it was just a huge lie. Day 2, our plumbing in Oak and Balsam was backing up into the sinks. We informed staff of the situation and it took several hours before someone came to take a look at it. Turns out the plumbing has been an issue for several weeks and they had to get an excavator in to fix a busted pipe. We went without sewer and water for 1.5 days. Once again we were given no apology. When asked if we would get a discount Tammy's response was, "No, it's not my fault this happened." The cabins were filthy. Floors were not even cleaned. Mouse poop in the bathtub, cobwebs everywhere, doors don't shut, windows do not stay open and soooooo many dead bugs everywhere. Cabin Little Moose was infested with ants. For a whole week's stay we were given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and 2 trash bags. Everyday I had to go down to the office to get more toilet paper and trash bags. Not to mention there is no one in the office to help you ever. You have to search to grounds to find them. We were told to place our trash outside the cabin and staff will pick it up during the day. So as you would assume I woke up several mornings with trash everywhere from the animals and rodents getting into it. A barrel would probably be appropriate to prevent this from happening. On our last day Tammy came over to our cabin and told us our boat was in the wrong spot and made us move it for someone else. The boat was in the same spot all week and it was in a spot they assigned to us the first day. When we checked out Tammy accused our group of going into another cabin when our plumbing was out to shower. To which we never did and find that to be so bazaar. Very unprofessional, poor customer service, rude, and clearly don't care about their guests. PLEASE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT STAY HERE.

The laughs, area history, and fishing stories made the day memorable. At the end of the day, we were invited for dinner on the patio for more stories and conversation. Not only is the fishing trip great, they host clients on their patio for happy hour and a fish fry. Randy is a great source of history about the area and fishes based on knowledge he has learned over the years. I can highly recommend!

Wanted to grab breakfast before the Viking game at 8:30 this morning...big mistake. Clearly no one on staff wanted to be there today, at table for 15 minutes before they figured out no one had been assigned to my table. Buffet only apparently, filled with nasty heavy carb loaded glop, weak brown water said to be coffee, a real "slop the hogs" atmosphere. They should keep the kitchen staff in the kitchen as they only reinforce the careless approach to breakfast. Hop in the car and head to town for a cooked to order breakfast, or better yet, stop at StoneHouse coffee and scones for take out. You'll be glad you did.
