Breeze might be my favorite new airline... if only it went to more airports and abroad!! Leaving Tampa sucks only when I'm staying in the U.S., but the blow isn't as bad knowing TPA is the best airport of its kind and now there's an option to fly with Breeze. I've always wanted to fly breeze since it's 2020 arrival, but the smaller markets it flew into weren't that great. Fast-forward to 2025 when they've added so many more markets, including the teeny tiny Pensacola airport which I happen to go back to when I'm not abroad and not in Tampa (the parents live there, and I run Airbnb's out of there). When I got back to Pensacola from abroad in July, I flew my daughter up on breeze and she told me how great it was. On my first breeze flight, it was a brand new plane! A first great impression for a germaphobe pho like me. I'm a bag checker so I don't know how it is to fly with just a carry-on and I feel like the plan with a check bag and Wi-Fi is worth it. You get full Wi-Fi on the plane. Only Water was served for my #Short one hour flight so I'm not certain if they serve other snacks, but there is a paid menu. For now, I'm giving this airline a five star because it was a smooth, clean and comfy flight. I'll update when I can do a round trip and also fly to a different market. After I'm done with my Southwest points Breeze will be my first look. I just hope it keeps expanding and takes Southwest place since Southwest decided it would like to be just as average as every other airline these days. Breeze feels like a better version of what Southwest was when it first started as you do get to choose your seats! I hope they keep up the great service. I wrote an article on breeze Airways upon its inauguration and the CEO at least at the time it was the former CEO of JetBlue. Without embarrassing the man the flight attendant could see I was distressed and offered another seat to me. You have no idea how grateful I was. WARNING TO ANYONE FLYING WITH Breeze Airways I'm sharing this so nobody else has to go through what I'm dealing with right now. My luggage never made it to my final destination, and trying to get help has been extremely frustrating. There is NO real customer service line, no direct baggage office contact, and no clear communication on where your belongings actually are. Instead of getting answers, you're left: Texting and waiting Being redirected with no real updates Unable to speak to anyone who can physically locate your bag This is a serious issue when airlines don't have efficient systems or procedures in place to track and return luggage quickly. TRAVEL TIP (PLEASE READ): If you are flying--especially with budget airlines--PUT AN APPLE AIRTAG OR TRACKING DEVICE IN YOUR LUGGAGE. Why? You'll know EXACTLY where your bag is You won't have to rely on the airline for updates You can push them to act faster when you already have the location At this point, passengers are forced to do their own tracking because the system isn't reliable enough. So I booked my first trip with breeze airline and I had an issue with pricing. I received an balance due a couple days after I booked so I contacted customer service. I like the fact that I can message them and not have to wait on phone on hold for hours. They finally was able to see the issue and they took responsibility of the confusion and made things right. I truly appreciate the fact that they did not try to fault me for it and charge me extra money that I was not made aware of. Honesty and dedication to ensuring their customers are treated right and is satisfied is very important for a business. So I am giving 5 stars. I will write another review once I complete my trip. I usually don't add feedback about flight experiences. This was my first time flying breeze. For a smaller airline, it wasn't bad. The flight was very sooth, and we had a solid landing. No breaking where you get whiplash when the plane is landing. The only gripe is how long it took for our luggage to come to the belt. read more

Trust me, don't do it!! I have so many thoughts about this bait and switch company! First issue, my brand new luggage was badly damaged. I reported it at the airport at the breeze ticketing counter as soon and I retrieved my checked bag. I was told the person who handles this was not available and to go to the ticketing counter. The rep spoke with their supervisor via cell phone. I was given a website to report the issue and she wrote down a phone number. I went to the website which stated that I needed to report it at the Breeze desk at the airport, which is what I had just done so that was a waste of time! I called them and they had an automated message that said to either call or text them. I texted Breeze and they stopped responding to my texts. This is getting ridiculous! How do I get reimbursed for my luggage? Also, the day before, we were switched to a smaller plane with none of the amenities that we were promised, including no WiFi. I also had a seat that was full of someone's chewing gum in multiple areas of the seat, including the menu, seat tray, and other areas. I have photos of these issues. Then, to make matters worse, our flight was delayed twice within the span of 2 hours and they switched our return plane AGAIN!! No one wants to be on that nasty, dirty plane again! On my trip from Nee Orleans to Providence on 3/3/26 I paid for a carry on bag. There was a stop in Raleigh to let passengers off and new ones on. I received a phone call from a man who mistakenly took my bag. I informed the crew and they told me they couldn't wait for it to be returned so I had to leave it there. In Providence they said they would expedite it to Bradley Int'l airport and deliver it to my house. That did not happen. When a real person texted me back because there are NO live people to talk to in customer service she said it was coming into Providence today and I will have to pick it up. She said they DO NOT deliver if a fellow passenger took a bag by mistake and that I have to pick it up because it was not a delay from Breeze. There is NO consistency between workers as far as knowing what their policies are and do not care about customer service. The flight itself was good but customer service is awful and they don't care about their customers at all. Very frustrating because I did not cause this as well. I would leave no stars if I could. Breeze broke one of our bags where the wheel was completely gone and all our stuff was falling out of the bottom. We spoke to Bruce and he dismissed me saying I overpacked luggage even though it was all the correct size and weight. When I asked to speak to manager he said no and that he was no longer going to respond to my emails. This is very poor customer service and we are very unhappy. We now need to buy a whole new suitcase because of their poor handling of our bag. read more

There was an accidental booking that occurred and I immediately contacted Breeze less than 2min to inform of the situation and they refused to change my reservation or refund me. The person behind me during the whole ride had his knees up my back, pushing my feet under the seat. But great pilot made it home safe and sound. Best round-trip flight ever! If you need an inexpensive but excellent flight to Vegas, Breeze is for you! Breeze is a newer airline. I paid $413 for round-trip tickets from Tampa to Vegas, leaving the Friday prior to Thanksgiving. That price tag included a $25 "Nicer" upgrade; it allowed me a carry-on bag, a whole lot of leg room up front, a Kind brand nut bar, & a small bottle of water. Just the added leg room was well worth the money! Other bonuses are that this airline has new planes (w/ comfortably wide seats); there was not one passenger waiting to check in luggage before my Tampa departure, & only a small handful of passengers prior to my Vegas departure. This is my first time flying where the flight attendants were VERY friendly, even conversing with us passengers in the cabin while we waited for others to board in Huntsville, Alabama. (The Tampa/Vegas flight & Vegas/Tampa flight each had a 35-min wait on the plane in Huntsville.) Having few worries about lost luggage was also a plus. The flight from Tampa to Alabama was approx 1 hr 20 min. The flight from Alabama to Vegas was approx 4 hours. This was perhaps the easiest flight I've ever taken. FROM TAMPA, BREEZE CURRENTLY OFFERS THESE DESTINATIONS: Huntsville, Alabama; Las Vegas, Nevada; Akron, Ohio; Canton, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Oklahoma City; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Bentonville, Arkansas; & Fayetteville, Arkansas; Charleston, SC; Louisville, Kentucky; & Richmond, Virginia. (New destinations are being added often, so don't rely on my list.) Breeze came into existence in July 2018, but its first flight was on May 27, 2021. It is owned by David Neeleman; he founded JetBlue & three other airlines. Neeleman has plans to gradually add additional domestic routes to the current 32. (As of Nov 2022, the closest passengers can get to New England is Rhode Island & New York.) There exist no international routes. I purchased this flight on Black Friday 2021 for $29 each way. My flight ORF to TPA was originally scheduled to return to ORF at 7pm but a few weeks prior the return flight scheduled changed to a 9pm departure which was disappointing. I was given the option to cancel with a full refund. The airline was very clean but still carry your wipes for your chair and tray. Bring your own snack because those prices are out of this world! Bring an empty water bottle to fill up because a can of soda is $3. Other than that, I would definitely take Breeze again! A wonderful weekend trip. I flew from round trip from TPA to SDF on a direct flight. There are three categories of seats. There is Nice, Nicer, and Nicest. I chose Nicer. Nicer gets you a carry on bag, checked bag, and a personal item. You get a snack and a bottle of water too. The ticket was about $120 which is really good considering I purchased it a few weeks before. There was plenty of leg room! REALLY friendly and professional staff! Plane is brand spanking new with that new plane smell...mmmm. Nice! Roomy bathroom! The bathroom was big enough to turn around in and there was even a place to put my purse. For travelers with infants, there is a nice size changing table, too. There Nicest area has automatic reclining seats and foot rests. You can lower and raise your headrest. I might have to treat myself next time and luxuriate in the nicest section:-) We boarded and left on time on both my departure and my return flight. I will definitely fly Breeze Airline again! read more

This airline has been the most disappointing from both ends of my round-trip flight of any airline I have been on. My first flight was postponed five times, because they couldn't find a flight crew. I ended up going from getting in at 10 at night to 5am on Thanksgiving the next day. Today, I was in the TSA check in line and was sent a text saying my return flight was cancelled. When I went to the Breeze check in line, they said there were no flights at any point and to go to Jet Blue. They wouldn't even help book. What was even worse is the flight I booked to go home was $685 one way, but they only reimburse up to $500. You have to fill out a 28 day reimbursement form within 6 days. In a nut shell, both sides of my trip were messed up, no help from customer service to reschedule, and I am out at least $185. My advice, go with an established airline. read more

Do not book with this airline! If you want to get stay home or stuck in another city then book with breeze (can't say fly because they don't). We have had flights cancelled twice on different months because they have no crew to operate the plane!!!! My bag was damaged, there is no one at the airport to complain to at midnight. I sent an email 7am next morning, finallly got a response later in the day saying I needed to have complained within the hour of receiving my bag. I bought a round-trip ticket for my brothe-in-law from Norfolk to Tampa for $363. His returni flight was canceled after numerous delays and he spent the night in the airport until the next morning when he had to fly home on another airlines. The cancellation was due to mechanical problems. I contacted Breeze customer service, which is impossible to talk to a representative, via text. They only refunded me $114 for their error. I would have expected at least half the cost of the initial fee. Bottom line is I had to spend additional money on this trip not to mention the significant inconvenience to him. Brand new airline from the founder of jet blue. Planes are smaller embracere and soon new A220 in a 2-2 configuration that's perfect as no middle seat. Plane was comfortable and clean, flight crew and attendants very nice. Limited space overhead on carryons. That's the good. The bad is the gate attendant in Tampa did not load the plane properly and people that paid to be in the first five row got on behind people in group 2 and had no space to themselves over head. The gate attendant in Richmond was even worse and needs more training as he did the same thing. Normally you load with wheelchairs and people needing extra assistance and parents with children under 2. This guy said all people with children please load. There were 100 people that got on the plane in front of zone 1 again no overhead space. Come on Breeze get this right!! Not hard to do. read more

Never in my entire life have I been treated so badly I show up to the airport a hour early for my flight with Breeze Airways im waiting on a ticket agent to call me up for a flight at 8 am by the time they call me up it's 7:16 and they tell me I'm 1 minute too late they won't take my bag I beg them to take it then say you know what that's ok I'll just have to throw away all my perfume and other stuff I say can you please print my boarding pass they say no we won't print it like excuse me! Flight doesn't take off till 8 they tell me it's too late you can't get on the flight ! Then they proceed to be rude and say oh well I asked them to look up another flight they REFUSED to even talk to me then called a police officer who then proceeded to tell me OH WELL get on yelp and make a review they handed me a small piece of paper that says text only!! They have no customer service line it literally directs you to Facebook!! So they continue to be rude now I've completely missed my flight with no flight credit no rebooking NOTHING. After THEY refused and the THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service in the world I had told myself I would never fly with them again after my first experience of them having the most uncomfortable seats no WiFi no TVs and the cabin pressure was off so nobody could even hear each other talk on the flight that I took last time but it was the earliest option HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND!!!! A hour and a half late leaving tpa. Plane was there 5 hours at gate then they pulled one as I watched from the what appears to be fix it lot. Captain repeatedly states please give us another chance at tpa. After letting us board knowing they had to cut plane off for 10 minutes with no ac to restart computer. Then they cancel flight home at 0100 day before flight. They expect me to pay extra 2 days Hotel stay. Next flight was Monday. Canceled flight was Saturday. Then they think 50 credit dollars covers my last minute flight costs to get home to work Sunday. We're nurses. They lost me. They beg for a second chance then cancel. Gave them a try.
