She has a beautiful bedroom and living area and the place always smells fresh and clean. She has participated in a wide variety of activities from making crafts and going on group outings, to playing bingo and winning a homemade quilt (made by another resident). The onsite amenities are very nice and every day there's a new activity to participate in. I really appreciate all the efforts made to keep the residents motivated, engaged, and included. The leadership and staff are also exceptional. They truly care about the residents and it shows in how they talk to them and treat them. From day one they have been warm and kind and have treated my grandmother like family. And each time I've visited they've been extremely friendly and accommodating. It's easy to get worried about a loved one when they move into a new place, but the love and respect shown to my grandmother has been truly amazing. Dion and Sammi really have an amazing attention to detail, and it shows in how this facility is run. The facility is quite large, has extended care and also rehabilitation. The meals are good and the facility is really clean. I thought the rooms were quite spacious and there are plenty of public spaces to hang out with family. The most important point is that it seems quite safe and professionally managed. All of the doors out of the building require a code to get out, and there are many memory care safeguards in place. The staff seems well trained with lifting patients and performing treatments. I thought everything was really well managed. We are glad to have our family member here and would recommend it anytime.

I didn't know anything other than I would be able to get help. Boy, did they help! When I was going, they had videos for new moms that teach necessary parenting and safety skills that new and expecting mamas would watch for "mommy money" that they would save up and turn in for different baby supplies. I probably could have "done it" without HPC, but it would have been so much harder. I'm so thankful for the ladies I met there, and so sad that I had to move away from Iowa because I miss them every day and am sad that I cannot volunteer there and pay it forward. Thank you HPC.

I live in another state and no immediate family lives near my brother, so I depend heavily on this facility to provide the care needed for my brother. I have always said that those working at this facility are "my heroes." My brother's medications were stabilized (in my opinion) through the care of this facility, which has been a huge accomplishment. I've never heard my brother express happiness (due in part to his mental condition), but this past weekend he expressed that though he was in pain at times physically, he was HAPPY! I credit this ALL to the care my brother receives on a daily basis. Nearly everyone that works at Crystal Heights has come to understand how best to handle my loved one that produces the best results. It cannot be easy for them on some days because I know my brother. Thank you Crystal Heights! I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a place that will take fabulous care of your loved one. They are top knotch!

It's too efficient!! Hahaha I kinda wanted a more in-depth review of my lab work, but he said "Everything is perfect", so why sweat the small stuff. They were out of coffee in the waiting room & they still use styrofoam cups, so that's something they can improve upon. They've also offered gun locks with the Veterans Crisis Line number listed on it, in the age of "22", this is an appreciated offering.
