We found it on the second Floor of the Galt House's West Tower and we were impressed the minute we set foot inside, because Walker's Exchange is huge. The dining rooms went on and on, a never-ending layout of well-spaced tables and chairs. That theme was repeated when we looked for the breakfast buffet, It took a while to see it because it was WAY down from the dining room and the layout turned out to be even more spacious than the dining room. There were French Toast, grits, plenty of pastries, scrambled eggs, carved country ham, potatoes, frittatas, juice, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, bagels, lox, waffles and an omelet station. I had an egg white omelet with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and jalapenos. It was made to order in front of my eyes and it was excellent. I added some potatoes from a hot tray, splashed on some hot sauce and enjoyed a top-notch omelet. I also had a few slices of that tempting country ham and man oh man was that good. Add in excellent coffee and friendly professional service and you will have a tough time finding a better $25 breakfast anywhere.

The menu says $6 and they are rung up at $7. I note this discrepancy and they said their menus are wrong and every price is accurate in the system. This is very misleading but I'm also not arguing over a dollar, it's just the principal for me. I get the brussel sprouts and lo and behold, they are smothered with bacon. At this point, I'm already on the go and I'm chucked it as a loss. This was a terrible experience due to the lack of customer service and limited knowledge of the staff related to menu items. Our server was a quirky guy with great recommendations and I loved him - he took great care of us. We ordered a lot of food and drinks and they were all over it. My cocktails were excellent and it was fun to try some new and unique drinks. My husband's mocktail was solid and he ordered a second, which rarely happens. The food was all delicious. Hot and fresh.
