    Salt Cave

Me and my sister went to BreathMD for a yoga class in the Salt Cave once. We found this yoga class through classpass's free trial and were intrigued by the "salt cave" aspect. When we arrived, we were lead into the salt cave/yoga room which was very peaceful! It was a bit on the colder side - made me regret not wearing long sleeves and there were 4 people in total in the class. They do provide the mats which is all the equipment needed. The class was 1 hour long but very slow. It seemed to be more about stretching. I think we did 10-15 different moves. After each stretch/move, the instructor would use oil and message or push us a little further. Overall, I think I went in with a different expectation of this class being possibly more difficult or funner but it was too slow and boring for my taste. Before you book the yoga class, ask yourself what you want to do- do you need a good stretch? do you want different poses? come in with no expectations. I most likely will not be back.

Dr. Bowden's staff and office are awesome. The staff invited me with smiles and offered me water and tea. The office is bright, welcoming and refreshing. I was offered a cold cloth with mint (I believe thats what it was) that opened my nasal passages. The consultation was harmless and Dr. Bowden was very friendly. I look forward to a smooth procedure.

Super relaxing ambiance, no harsh lighting. Smells great in there w/o toxic artificial "air fresheners"

And if you make an inquiry via their website, they are very responsive. My appointment was with Dr. McCutcheon & I will admit I requested him because he is the older brother of an old clubbing buddy from the 80s (yes, I understand that was eons ago). The office is located right off of the Katy freeway & parking is convenient via the attached garage. The office is clean & the wait was brief. I was shown toward the back of the practice or Dr. Lippeatt's domain where I was seated in what looked like a faraday cage to have my hearing tested. Turns out my right ear is a bit worse than my left. After the testing I was seated & waited briefly for Dr. M. We spoke about my hearing loss & the possibility of hearing aids. Lots of question & him looking in each ear had me feeling at ease that the ringing can be controlled. I highly recommend MVSH!

Breathe…read more After a few bouts of pneumonia and allergy problems, I was referred to find an ENT. Oh and a clogged ear. Did a Google search and read a bunch of reviews and chose Dr Kaplan. WIN. Made an appt and got in fairly easy. The office is in an older style building but very nice. The front staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend new patient fill out the forms online. Saves major time. Went in and Dr Kaplan worked his magic and cleaned out my ear and prescribed some meds. He asked me if I had allergy issues and said my nasal passages was blocked. He suggested a CT scan of the cranial something to see if I was a good candidate for balloon sinuplasty. He sent in a tech to help me with the insurance. Mine covers the $100 copay if I call for authorization. Apparently they did this quite often. After the CT, he showed me the blockage and we scheduled the procedure. The procedure was done a week later and it was magical. I could breathe better and sleep better. The only payment was $35 co-pay and then a $100 co-pay for the anesthesiologists. There was 2 after care sessions and I was good to go. Dr Kaplan is very professional and courteous. He gave me his cell number and responded promptly by text and call with answers. I appreciated that a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After I saw him, I discovered that he is very well known and has done TV appearances. Wowza. Would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a professional, knowledgeable and caring ENT.

First time here, I didn't have any issues. The doctor gave me a medication. It kind of fixed the problem but I think the symptoms went away on its own. Other than a shocking side effects that almost sent me to the emergency room, I was back to normal. My second time here was to get an allergy test before they can formulate the serum for my allergy shot. Ok. This seems pretty simple. I followed the instructions to prepare my test. I didn't have to wait. The staff poked me a few times (about 82 times) and generated a report. Then, the doctor came in to explain the results and the next step. There were two options, daily drop under the tongue or weekly shots. I thought it was bothersome and expensive for daily dose, nearly $400 for 3 months. He said weekly shots are about the same price. Treatments would last 3 years or longer. I told him I can't do it now because I have some major events I need to attend. He said it would take time to formulate the serum anyway. I was happy that test was done with no side effects. But I am in pain for my wallet. Upon check out, I almost fall to the floor. They charged over $600, including copay for the test. I didn't get any warning. Ugh. I'm so upset and not going back again. I can't afford to get the shots, not even one drop. Tomorrow is the first, the rent needs to be paid. Update: a day later, I called my insurance company and asked them if this provider sent in my procedure for approval. The response was shocking. Nope. So, I removed another star.

The checkout staff were cold, robotic and disrespectful, and told me I couldn't leave until they verified insurance for the fourth time all while I was suffering from a migraine, numb from a procedure, and very uncomfortable. He may have a lot of experience but his bedside manner must of been lost along the way. By the time you need to see an ENT, you have a lot going on. Over the past 3 weeks, I've seen a general dentist, endodontist 3 times (2 failed attempts at a root canal), an oral surgeon 8 times (3 procedures- including tooth extraction), rheumatologist, and then Dr. Ghorayeb, ENT. My first visit with him left me with a lot of unanswered questions. He did his exam, he wouldn't listen to what led me to him. He ordered a STAT CT to rule out sinus involvement, this was on a Friday. By Tuesday, they finally had the results but the doctor wasn't in and I had to come back in on Wednesday to discuss results. I paid my co-pay, only for him to tell me its not sinus related and I had a bone fracture (although the radiologist did not report this), therefore, has nothing to do with him and wanted to send me out the door but not tell me what to do next. I had more questions about the CT, because he failed to tell me I had a severely deviated septum and didn't want to explain the irregularities within my sinus because these are incidental findings and not what I initially came in for. At several different times, he'd tell me to go in on emergency to Memorial Herman, and then he'd say to go back to my dentist. When I told him I didn't understand what he was recommending, he began mocking me (repeating himself, speaking slowly) without answering my questions. When he couldn't answer my questions, he'd say "because I know". I finally had to tell him to give me a copy of my films and report and I'd find someone else. I've seen a lot of specialists and up until this guy, I thought I'd seen the worst.
