First time here, I didn't have any issues. The doctor gave me a medication. It kind of fixed the problem but I think the symptoms went away on its own. Other than a shocking side effects that almost sent me to the emergency room, I was back to normal. My second time here was to get an allergy test before they can formulate the serum for my allergy shot. Ok. This seems pretty simple. I followed the instructions to prepare my test. I didn't have to wait. The staff poked me a few times (about 82 times) and generated a report. Then, the doctor came in to explain the results and the next step. There were two options, daily drop under the tongue or weekly shots. I thought it was bothersome and expensive for daily dose, nearly $400 for 3 months. He said weekly shots are about the same price. Treatments would last 3 years or longer. I told him I can't do it now because I have some major events I need to attend. He said it would take time to formulate the serum anyway. I was happy that test was done with no side effects. But I am in pain for my wallet. Upon check out, I almost fall to the floor. They charged over $600, including copay for the test. I didn't get any warning. Ugh. I'm so upset and not going back again. I can't afford to get the shots, not even one drop. Tomorrow is the first, the rent needs to be paid. Update: a day later, I called my insurance company and asked them if this provider sent in my procedure for approval. The response was shocking. Nope. So, I removed another star.

I have had many office visits with Dr. Connie Nguyen. I really liked her at first. She makes…read moreyou wait a long time in her waiting room but she was always pleasant and friendly. I went to her for hair loss exosome treatments, as well as other skin issues. I spend thousands of dollars on the hair loss treatments. After completing the treatments, Dr. Nguyen showed me before and after photos of my scalp and insisted that the treatments were working extremely well. I could not tell which pictures were the "before" pictures and which were the "after" pictures because I saw no improvement. The treatments did not work and were a total waste of money. I do not blame her for the treatments not working, as there are no guarantees in medicine. But I would rather that she had been honest about it and just apologized that the treatments did not work. In any case, I was going to return to her for under the eye laser treatments which were also very expensive. BUT, in the meantime, one of her office assistants called me one day and said I still owed them 12 dollars and some odd cents and that if I didn't pay right then that I would be turned over to a collection agency and to the credit bureau. I could not believe her staff was being so awful to me after I had spent thousands and thousands of dollars with Dr. Nguyen and paid all bills at the time of service. I told the office assistant that they were treating me bad and that I didn't appreciate it. But I went ahead and paid over the phone and never returned to see Dr. Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen responded by sending me a certified letter telling me I was fired from being her client. I cannot believe how small and petty she is, especially when I spent so much money with her. And to conclude, I have seen other dermatologists since my visits with Dr. Nguyen and they have all told me that her under the eye laser treatment will be ineffective for me and not to waste my money. Shame on you Dr. Nguyen, I'm so disappointed with you. In the future, please remember, honesty is always the best policy.
