Everyone was pleasant, efficient and caring during my 6 months of Physical Therapy after arthroscopic right shoulder surgery by Dr. Song. Four years ago I had physical therapy at another business but the POA Robbinsville Physical Therapy team is the BEST and I highly recommend the office for their excellent quality of care and support. Thank you to Gina and Dana and office staff for their sense of humor when scheduling my requested mid-day appointment times. And many thanks to Reem and Brent, the therapy assistants, for their professionalism and cheerfulness; pre-therapy session heat, post-session ice, bands/pulleys/bike set-ups and keeping the PT office "ship-shape"! A special thank you to my Physical Therapist Matthew Farag, PT, DPT for always greeting me with a "hello, smile and how are you". With the "how are you" that was a time to update Matt - with concerns or questions. Matt thoroughly explained each therapy exercise and treatment as I progressed over the 50 sessions and taught me the exercises I could also do at home and continue after I was discharged. Sometimes I was worried about my full recovery but Matt was encouraging and positive. While the surgery was on my right shoulder, Dr. Song had diagnosed an impingement on my left that may have required future surgery since it was quite painful. With Matt's knowledge of physical therapies and understanding he helped me to full function on my left shoulder as well as my right. I appreciate Matt's expertise, guidance and professionalism as he worked with me to restore mobility to full range of motion on my shoulders. Happily, I can now resume hiking and canoeing activities!

Princeton house therapist lacked empathy, remorse and compassion. The manager of the whole program was also a narcissist who verbally and psychologically abused me, and gaslit me. She was very young and it was quite obvious that she had not yet done her own work. To punish me further, she has permanently banned me from Princeton house. Very toxic supervisors, staff, and management.

I broke up all the reasons I think Therapy for Women is amazing below. The values: This practice is based on mutual trust. You're therapist will happily share bits of their own life experiences. This always makes me feel less alone in what I am experiencing. Additionally, the open conversations make sessions comfortable/feel less like a doctors appointment. Therapy for Women also makes a point to let you know that you can switch therapists at anytime. Besides therapy won't be effective if you aren't comfortable with who you are talking too. In the office: The atmosphere is calming and quiet. Therapists have white noise machines at their door so your conversations will never be heard by someone passing by. If you are finding it hard to share something most therapists have art supplies, cards, fidget toys or board games that you are able to play during the session. The sessions are flexible and can be tailored to what you need. This is especially great for people like me with ADHD. The online portal: This might not be something many people think is important but the online portal is so simple. The rules, expectations, and prices for the practice are shared openly once you become a client so there is transparency. If you are ever confused about something or wondering about your last bill it is easy to look up past records and chat with your therapist directly. Price: Therapy for Women does not accept insurance (this is my understanding/ I'm not sure if there are specific exceptions). Sessions are relatively expensive since insurance doesn't cover the cost. However, Jen is a therapist I could stick with for years and I feel it is completely worth the extra cost.
