I have never had a problem with an of the alterations. I have also had a dress altered as it used to slip off my shoulders, that was more tricky, but again they managed to fix it with ease. The owner and his wife and so lovely, you can always be guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. One day while walking to work, my button fell off my dress, I went into the shop and they sewed it back on while I stood there. No charge for it either as they know me as a customer. The service is usually next day, but sometimes you can ask for them to do it quicker if you desperately need something done.

We made the train with time to spare. Otherwise the service is top-notch and modern. They sent me a confirmation text immediately (without asking for my number first - nice). They followed that 5 minutes later with the make, model and registration number of the dispatched taxi. Five minutes later the clean taxi showed up with a friendly, professional driver. I called John Friday afternoon to enlist his services as my tumble drier was malfunctioning. He arranged to call to my address for Monday - which is a bank holiday. He called me over the weekend to set up a convenient time. He arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He identified the problem and spent some time correcting the issue - he was not rushing and just wanted to make sure the repair was done properly. He left no mess and cleaned up any water leaks from the repair as he was going along. The issue is resolved and I am now good to go. He also offered some common sense advice on how to operate the drier more efficiently. I was more than pleasantly surprised at his charge for the repair and how fast he responded to the call out. He is professional, courteous, friendly and extremely capable. I would highly recommend him for any home visit on appliance repairs.

The owner talks a great job but that is all you will get. I would advise not paying up front till you have seen what damage has been done to your items.
