Skirt was checked by staff when handed over for dry cleaning, confirmed adequate for cleaning and then returned on a hanger, side on so a seam was down the front of it and also with the hem hanging loose. Staff wouldn't take responsibility and said it was a problem with the manufacturer of the product, not their method of cleaning. Said minimal mechanical force was used even though the clasp of the skirt was also damaged after their effort. In the end they claimed I had had something to do with it as I had been unable to return the garment straight away (couldn't return next day as they close at 5 so it was two nights later). I should have checked it before leaving in the first place, my mistake. Pay for cleaning; pay for repair as result of cleaning! You have to pay up front so I should have known better. Will go back to Aberdeen.

Two loads ended up costing £18 (~$24 USD). but worth it to be able to wash a bunch of clothes in the middle of a trip. not a lot of machines (5-6 washing machines, and 7 dryers), some folks were queuing up, waiting for machines to become available...
