The moment I stepped in the doors, little did I know how drastically my life would change for the better. I had no idea what to expect and it was definitely THE best experience of my life! I gained so much confidence in myself while learning the proper techniques with which to better not only myself , but those around me. I learned the core values of teamwork along with personal growth. I was taught new methods of thought process which enabled me to step outside my comfort zone , think outside the box and just trust the process. These classes are so full of enthusiasm and synergy you can't help but come out a winner ! I HIGHLY recommend RLI classes to everyone looking for ways to improve themselves for whatever purpose. I attended a couple of their trainings and became close with a couple of the employees at that time…read more(been a few years). Here's the breakdown: 1. Yes, the tactics seem manipulative, as they are, but it's not about pledging allegiance or joining a cult. I believe the trainers genuinely want people to grow in leadership. Do they keep you up late? Yes, because you'll more easily access your emotions the next day. Are the trainers a bit offstandish? Yes, because they want you to form bonds with your team. Do they keep things "secret" and not provide an agenda, etc? Yes, but it's to keep you on your toes. Everything seemed to have a reason behind it. 2. It's less about leadership and is more about stretching you as a person. The "Leadership" they teach is basic and common knowledge. They just put you in processes to "practice" and to take action and not sit back. 3. The company is a MESS. Their entire history is full of people stealing money from the company, inter-office affairs, people fighting, etc. The leadership DOES NOT practice what they teach in the trainings. It's not a good company culture and struggles financially A LOT! My friends always seemed torn about whether to go or stay at the company. 4. Not everyone needs it or will benefit from this training. From what I saw in my classes, it was really beneficial for certain types of people, especially ones who have never spoken up and stood up for themselves and their beliefs. 5. The trainers are not officially trained as coaches, nor do they even have their own business/leadership success. Some do, some don't. They're trained by other trainers at the company, not coaching professionals. What they are is woefully underprepared to handle any sort of mental health crisis or trauma experiences that may come up. I remember in one of my classes, a guy mentioned that he had been "locked in a room as a child." No one knew how to handle that. 6. This training can trigger unresolved issues, trauma, or open up old wounds. For some, that might be okay, but no one in the room is ready or trained to handle it. They do also set up a very dark room for a hugging process that is just weird - eyes closed, hands by your sides, and you have no idea who's coming up to hug you? and you can't talk? No thanks. If anyone has been a victim of SA, this isn't the place for them AT ALL. 6. Also, I don't think the trainers even are CPR certified, much less even first aid, and some of the training is quite physically demanding. 7. Most people only take the first training and never come back. If the trainings are that amazing, why do most people not finish all the other courses? I hope all this info helps.

It was a little less intuitive than other online schools and somewhat confusing to navigate. The biggest issue I had was the fact that you almost have to print a bunch of documents, INCLUDING THE QUIZES. There are answer guides you can also download or print. This was really strange. I was expecting an electronic form of quiz with results immediately after each quiz. But no, it's just pdf and you self check your answers. This is NOT convenient for modern day learners whatsoever. The training is super basic, its just PDF outlines that an instructor reads through occasionally making additional comments or notes. I would've liked a more up to date training platform, but for the price and online feature I am happy to complete it at my own pace.

I've been through multiple trainings with Kevin Cole precisely because he is exceptional at application. He does things I have not seen any NLP Trainer do before - mostly because he's master practitioner who has an actual practice. I have recommended his program to many. He has also shown zero hesitation to give me a quick refresher on a technique when I'm about to use a tech with a client that I haven't used fir a while. I think it's been ten years we've had an ongoing professional relationship. I was and continue to be impressed. Were it not for the COVID-lockdowns, I was going to go through his entire training again to hone my skills, reinforce my knowledge on the techniques I rarely use, and, importantly, benefit from upgrades he's developed in at least a couple of the techniques he teaches. When I signed up he ensured me that I would get what I was looking for in his training. In particular I was interested in making sure I learned a sound process or methodology to work with clients. During the training, all we covered were different NLP Techniques with no practical guidelines as to implement the tools we were introduced to. When asked about this, Kevin did not answer but rather pointed the lack of understanding to being my fault. I found this to be unprofessional. On two of the 3 day training I was a little tardy to the class, about 15 minute or so. He said my failure to show up on time was the reason I wasn't getting the results the training was "guaranteed to offer". I hung in there for the last day hoping that he would explain more of the process and methods for working with clients and growing the business. Sadly, we never covered this material. And I think we all could of did without his whole evening spent on him sharing his "story" about himself and how NLP changed his life. When I asked for a partial refund based on his guarantee, he flatly denied and again deferred it being my fault. Absolutely unacceptable in my eyes. By the way, I own a business and I guarantee my work. If anyone is in the slightest bit unsatisfied I will happily will return their money. That is what a guarantee is! You never blame your clients of your inability to provide a product or service that does not meet their expectations. Especially when you say you can! Do not be fooled by Kevin. He is a master of influence with his own self interest in mind!
