We took the Fixer upper Tour 8/29/25. Had so much fun . The lady who drove and guided was a local and knew the Gains. She made it's so interesting and answered all our questions. We got to stop at Jimmy John's and see his ironwork and Jimmy Don happen to be there so got to meet him. It was a great tour take it. You'll have a lot of fun. It lasted 2 1/2 hours. read more

Our boat pilot was quite knowledgeable about the Waco sites along the Brazos River. He interspersed his factoids with humor, which made for a less boring educational experience. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about the boat operation as well, although I think to protect the sanity of riders with anxiety, he could have kept the details of potential problems to himself. All in all this was a smooth, giggly ride down the Brazos. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely a one and done for us. read more

Enjoyed the tour of the Fixer Upper houses and Magnolia businesses around Waco. The only disappointment was not realizing everything would be closed on Sunday. Joe was a pretty good tour guide. He's really knowledgeable. I'd recommend this tour company but maybe not on a Sunday. read more

This was an amazing experience for any fixer upper fan. Our guide was super knowledgeable and sweet. It was amazing to be able to see so many houses and learn more insider information about them. She also included some Waco history that was interesting. To start the tour at Clint Harps shop and be able to go inside one of the houses was the cherry on top. Very well done, and the owner is fantastic to talk to. You can tell he really cares about what he is doing. read more

Fantastic tour! We did the Fixer Upper tour. It was a last minute decision to drive almost 3 hours to Waco & found their information in our hotel lobby. Contacted them the night before because it didn't look like they had any tours open to accommodate our group and the owner called me first thing in the morning that he added a tour for us! Called in an extra driver! What INCREDIBLE hospitality! The driver & tour guide were incredibly knowledgeable and personable! Waco has a rich history which we learned while also seeing beautiful homes! This tour is perfect for the super fan of Fixer Upper or someone who appreciates the workmanship of home improvement! Great for any "fixer upper" fan. In doing my research, this is one of two tours in Waco. I choose this one because it was about $10 cheaper per person. That said the other one is longer so you decide. Also be sure to get a coupon from the Waco website! Cost was about $50 a person so not cheap but worth it. The trolly will drop you across the street from the hotel but the hotel will allow you to park there. Both free. Mom and I met Scott in the lobby and surprisingly we were the only ones on the tour! Scott is really knowledge about the city of Waco and has some insider knowledge about Chip and Joanna. You not only see tourist spots of Waco but houses that you see from the show!! Something I thought cool was Scott stopped at local stores and let you shop, including Clint Harp's shop! Go in just to smell it! Would recommend! read more

We are visiting Waco and decided to do this tour to check out some Fixer Upper homes and more about the city. It lasted about 2.5 hours and was great. Our tour guide was Cathie and she knew a lot of information. She is relatively new to the area in 2021, but she did an excellent job. Very personable, friendly and informative. We also were able to go into an actual Fixer Upper home, so that was exciting!! read more

My two girls and I were in town on a girls trip and I highly recommend this tour!! Scott has a wealth of information about the Waco area, Baylor University and the Magnolia Company's. His passion for Waco and ministry really comes through while leaving you laughing with his stories. He took us by some homes that had been remodeled and decorated by Chip and Joanna on HGTV'S Fixer Upper Show and even stopped to allow us to get some photos. We also had the opportunity to shop at Harp Designs and another local shop. The price is very reasonable and we received discounts in stores because we mentioned his tour as well. Thank you Scott! We had Sue for our tour guide, boy was she gooood! Very knowledgeable and informative about the city of Waco & Chip & Joanna Gains projects that were on their show Fixer Upper. Looked around at other tours but was suggested to use these guys by another tour company who's van was out of commission. When my family and friends come to Waco, they will get our endorsement to use Brazos Tours! Would be worth it at a even higher price. This was an inspiring and delightful tour not only about Chip and Joanna Gaines but the revitalization of Waco. Cool stories about Mission Waco and more. Alyssa was amazing and we learned so much about many of the houses on Fixer Upper and projects they are working on now. The van was very cool on a hot Texas day. A group of women from Waco were celebrating a 60th birthday and another customer from out of state had made her reservation for the wrong month. My daughter and I traveled to Waco specifically to see the Silos and Magnolia shops. They were closed on Sunday so we had an opportunity to tour Waco. We chose Brazos Tours because they are a small company with great reviews and they support local charities by donating a portion of their ticket sales. Sue was our driver/tour guide and we could not have asked for anyone more knowledgeable and personable. Of course we saw many of the fixer upper homes and surprisingly we were able to go inside one. She shared so many interesting stories about Waco's history, its neighborhoods and the current revitalization throughout many parts of the city due largely to Chip and Joanna's impact on the economy. Sue has been active in the Waco tourism business in one way or another for several years, but it's her obvious love of Waco that made for the best tour ever! Brazos Tours was everything we expected. The tour took us around Waco to some of the homes that were featured on Fixer Upper with stories about some of the people whose homes were done. We loved the personal information because the tour guide knew many of the owners. He even pointed out interesting sites not associated with the show and were sites to see or eat while here.
