It's terrible. I thought I'd have a bad night with my 3 month old....& this is worse! The entire park is gravel, and holds standing water after a rainstorm. The 15/20 amp is blocked from use, thankfully we had a 50 amp converter. We were told to go to one site (without a map) and finally found it and someone was in it. Called the office and was redirected to a spot behind us and had to circle back around. Not a great experience but thankfully we're just using it as a place to (attempt to) sleep while we're visiting family in town.

The speeding that people do in this park is outrageous. They will run you over or your pet . We complained several times and the manager/ owners never did anything about it . There is so many people coming in and out all the time - so it's not a quiet park and it has high traffic all the time . The laundry room washers and dryers suck , they do not wash not dry your clothes at all and it is very expensive. It is so much cheaper to go to a laundry mat than to wash clothes at the park . We stayed there for over a year and it was horrible !

Having stayed in parks from Seattle to here, I don't say that lightly. The beautiful oak trees provided a neverending stream of unique birds that were very amusing. The proximity to the gulf provided a great place to relax with a cool breeze. Scanning other parks close by showed us another beautiful place with a 450.00all inclusive rent. We are grandfathered in so our rent won't ever change. As a cancer patient I make several trips for treatment in Houston. There is a clinic close by. Fuel prices are .30less in the area and that adds up. On fixed incomes, this made the move too hard to resist. So with a heavy heart I leave this review and move on. Love to all. Mike and Rosie

Fellow RV owners beware at this park, we recently plugged in at site 18 on the 30 amp side and it…read moretook out the converter, refrigerator,microwave, and TV. Upon inspection we discovered the pole was wired incorrectly and had two feeds instead of one, the 30 amp outlet had a hot circuit on the Line side (which is ok) and it had a hot circuit on the Neutral (which is not ok, this should be a Neutral). At first the owner seemed concerned and had her electrician come out to the site, we hauled our RV in to the nearest repair center for an estimate/ repairs, two months later and $1,100.00 we finally got it out of the shop.

Oyster creek lies on the other side of the levee. Where it is well maintained and perfect for fishing or just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. I was delighted to find out about the covered spots. What a relief from the Texas heat, and to be able to comfortably sit outside during a nice rain storm. I'm lucky enough to work at the beach, which is a very short yet beautiful drive down levee rd. The owner Rodney can be seen riding through the park checking on various things and visiting with the guests. You can tell he really cares about the park and I'm so thankful that he shares his small slice of heaven with myself and others. Green acres is the place to be, trailer living is the life for me. Dezan family People…read moreare friendly and welcoming. The park is clean and have nice concrete pads. Reasonable rates. Staff was helpful and available when needed. Location was convenient and close to the gulf beaches. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
