Her room is impeccable and comfortable. The staff is friendly, protective of their residents, and professional. Other residents are friendly and welcoming. The facility is well maintained, and attractive. The library is well stocked with books for every kind of reader. The chapel is lovely, too. Before CoVid, we dined together in the dining room on the second floor. The attendants were gracious and efficient. The food was very good - not highly seasoned, so delicate stomachs good eat heartily. The menu was varied, with regular items, too. During our meals, someone would get on the microphone with celebratory messages, upcoming events, and news about the community. During the first 8 months of CoVid, I did not see Millie. We talked frequently on the phone. She did not like the confinement, but praised the staff for their handling of meals and how everything was kept clean & safe. When visitors were finally permitted, in November, I came to see her - temperature checked, mask on and 6 feet apart for 20-30 minutes. Now, after both of us have been vaccinated, and a year later, we were able to visit outside, still masked, but sitting close to each other. After our visit, we exchanged farewell hugs. This is a beautiful place to live and visit. I'm always impressed with how clean and well maintained it looks when I drive up, and how lovely it is inside, too. This is a rare thing I find in my profession. Thus, without any reservation I would recommend the Olive Branch for a family member.
