I was pleased to find many items that I can't find in other stores. The prices are as good or better than the discount stores on many items! One of the young women working there noticed that I was having trouble and she and another woman working there caught me as I fell, preventing me from hitting my head. When I came to, they were cushioning my head, the security guard had called the EMTs and they had some cold water ready in case I needed it. They were very professional and kind. I am mostly recovered now and I am sure that their attention kept me from injuring myself. I will be forever grateful to them.

Thursday night I discovered that I was mistaken so yesterday I called around to a few local stores to see if anybody had any left in stock. Unfortunately, every store I called was sold out. As I was trying to figure out how I could modify Shabbat or birthday candles to use in the menorah, my phone rang. It was a Whole Foods employee named Morgan who heard that someone was looking for Chanukah candles. She said that she had an extra box at home and offered to bring them to work today and I could meet her at the store and pick them up. Wow! Like I said, I was blown away by the kindness and compassion of this woman who went out of her way to help me. My husband and I ended up using mini "tea light" candles configured on a board, just for the sake of doing something a little different amidst the weirdness of 2020. This year we're celebrating by ourselves, but Morgan's spirit of generosity and thoughtfulness helped to bring some much needed joy to our holiday.
