Came to Manila to try freshly made Czechoslavakian cuisine. This place is half restaurant and half coffee shop/coffee marketplace. Extensive coffee bean selections and paraphernalia on one side. Spacious sit down on other side.
Enjoyed their pivo praha beers. Had the schnitzel, not oily, served with red and white crunchy cabbage and peed baby potatoes. No gravy, but the thin and crispy meat, marvelous.
The goulash was a lot of quality, non fat beef bathed in a dark brown gravy. The potato dumpling soft and actually had taste to it.
Beef stew was huge. The many slices of soft beef meat covered with an almost orange mushroom sauce, dumplings and rice. Gravy was delicious.
Important. The opener of chicken pate and warm thinly sliced fresh bread was so smoothly spiced and satisfying, that we probably could've had eaten that alone all night! read more
