Wait on the phone several times to have promise after promise made but to no avail. Really what can you do? The online chat is not working due to the pandemic, 60minutes waiting time for any kind of response n the phone if you actually manage to get through, so here's a thought... do not take orders if you cannot fulfil them. My son is in a half completed bedroom because of poor service, no delivery, empty promises. If it ever does arrive lets hope the unit is not like the service. Beware of Trudy. A small older woman, she is vicious in the changing rooms and hoists your bras left right and centre to get the perfect bosom. She knows her trade though - she will look at you and in an instant tell you what's wrong with the bra you're wearing and what size you should be wearing. Recently I was in there to get some Spanx (if you don't know what I'm talking about, think Bridget Jones knickers with extra support). I ended up chatting about the wonders of Bravissimo, and how it was a pity they didn't stock the same girly bras. To my surprise, they hauled out several catalogues and explained how their pricing was far more competitive than Bravissimo, but that no one bothered to ask. Considering I pay an average of £30 for a Bravissimo bra, I think I'll be frequenting Foner's once more to save my pennies. I'll just have to keep my arms crossed over my chest and avoid eye contact with Trudy.

I expected to be told she was serving another customer and would serve me when she was finished. I did not appreciate being ignored, especially as this is not a cheap shop. I went to bravissmo which was brilliant, there customer service was second to none. This is not the first poor experience I have here, several years ago I order a corset to be made, I paid half the price as a deposit and was told it would take 2 weeks, 2 weeks later it was not ready and I got a lecture about them being handmade and taking a while and I was told in another 4 weeks it would be ready. 6 weeks after my initial order I was told it would take another 2 weeks, after 8 weeks after my initial order it still wasn't ready. I had to spend a long time arguing to get my money back.

There is usually a good range of sizes out on display and if your size isn't there the staff are happy to go and check if they have it in the back, usually returning with the right size for you. The staff are friendly and helpful and know what they are talking about when it comes to fashion. Lipsy isn't as cheap as some places but the clothes are of a good quality and they do last for a long time. This is a great shop for something for a special occasion, or just a treat.

If you happen pop in then look out for the homemade scones on the counter. They are made by the lady who runs the shop with her husband and they are simply the nicest scones I have tried in a very very long time!!
