One of the worst ice creams I've ever had very disappointing. This was my first and definitely last time at this place. I had been driving for hours and really needed a quick ice cream break, so I searched for the closest spot on Google and ended up here. I asked for two scoops, but honestly, I couldn't even finish them. The flavor wasn't good, the texture felt off, and it just wasn't the kind of ice cream I enjoy at all. Don't often do fast foods but we were out shopping and didn't feel like going to a sit down so decided to try to brauns drive thru to take home...the only down side of the experience was the drive thru was a little on the slow side (as I said to my wife, "they're taking the fast out of fast food"). Braums. What can I say? Quick and tasty burgers with little wait, and one of the best shakes I've had for the price. We live near this location and stop by a couple times a month. It's fairly easy in and out with their own parking lot, but it's usually pretty busy so it's not always easy to find a place to park. You might have a walk. They do offer drive thru service as well. The restaurant side is very casual like any other fast food place. It has a high turn over and may not always be the cleanest, but usually it's okay unless you're there at a really busy time. The food is what keeps us coming back. Upgrade your combo from a drink to a shake at no extra charge. This is what we always do. I stick to deluxe burger and fries. It's my favorite! read more

Normally pretty good, but tonight was a fail. I ordered a small fry ($1.89) with no salt. I find some people are heavy handed with it. Waited an extra 4 minutes only to get dried fries covered with salt. I see people leaving one and two star reviews and now I know why. You have to wait for food only for it to be wrong and it's frustrating to call and/or turnaround to go back to get fresh food. Beyond frustrated. Ordered a Black Forest sundae with 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream. When they handed it to me, I checked to make sure it was made with chocolate ice cream. It was not. So I handed it back and asked them to remake it. I had to pull up and park. When the young man brought it to me I checked and saw 2 scoops of chocolate. There was chocolate on the bottom of the bag and it got on my pants. When I got home, maybe 2 minutes, the ice cream was half melted and as I ate there was NO CAKE!! I love this place!!! It's busy, festive (like a favorite relatives home) and boisterous!!! Great burgers and fries! The turtle shake was kinda not what I was expecting, but still good. I'd go for cookies n cream next time. But life hack, order the side of chili for $5 which is gigantic and pour it on top of your fries! The chili is more than enough to split for 2-3 orders of fries to make chili cheese fries. I've always loved Braum's ice cream but most of their locations are always dirty and their service is always horrible. Today my dad went through the Mansfield drive thru and ordered from there and the girl at the window messed up pretty much almost all of our order. She forgot toppings on my moms Sunday, put my dads ice cream in a cup when he asked for a cone, and forgot to even give my sister her fries. The only order she got right was mine (it was literally just a shake) and yet she still did a horrible job. It looks like she messed up when making my shake and broke the cup, so instead of pouring the shake into a new cup she put the broken cup in another cup and handed it to me all dirty and covered up in shake. With each thing that she forgot/messed up on she never bothered apologizing, being helping, or kind for either. She would just turn around and shut the window. Horrible service. read more

Absolutely delicious ice cream , burgers , fries and they sell the gallons of ice cream as well! So many flavors! They have great options, it's also a fresh market so they have some groceries available as well like milk, eggs and some produce! The prices are great! Service is horrible. The lady on the drive thru was super rude. We barely ordered and she was like "that's it? Second window." We had only said "banana split..." and was in the middle of giving the next order. We have been here several times and each time we are just as upset. **BEWARE**Went to Braums on Saturday 4/10 and ordered a large Limeade. The Limeade tasted very carbonated so I opened the lid to find a surprise. Went to order milkshakes and fries in the drive-thru and after I ordered the milkshakes, I told them that I would also like to order fries and they said they had already sent the order in and I wasn't even done ordering my food! I told them I wasn't even done ordering my food. Then I told them that I wanted to order fries and they said they already sent the order in and there's nothing they can do. So I waited until I got my milkshakes to ask about getting my fries that I had asked for in the beginning and they told me I would have to drive around just to sit in the line again even though I was sitting there for 20 minutes waiting on freaking milkshakes. Then they told me, or I can go inside and order them which defeats the whole purpose of going through the drive-through. they had a computer right there at the front .They could have just put it in with no problem. Not to mention they weren't even busy. So I don't understand why they couldn't fix that ! But I wasn't fixing to go back around and sit in the drive-through for 20 minutes for the other five cars behind me to order before I order again because y'all can't get orders out in a timely fashion. The worst customer experience at a Braums i've ever had. The associates at the Braums in MansfieldTX were rude and lacked any customer obsession. The associate controlling the drive thru started the conversation with I can't help you if you're using a card, its cash only. The drive thrus card reader is down. No other suggestions or options were suggested. I replied i dont have cash."" Can you take my order and i come in to pay?" The associate replied that no, you have to come in and wait again in line to use your card. I have already sat behind three cars already and waited. I asked if i could order, and they rang me up at another register as i had already waited in this line and wasn't waiting any longer. She replied no we can't do that."" The lobby was full and had a line thru the store, so she stated I would need to come in and wait additional to order and pay with card. Instead of helping me take my order using another register in the lobby and starting my order as they would in the drive thru anyway, she stated no, we can't do that. After I insisted they start my ice cream order, I then came in to pickup my order inside and the young lady inside at the register has giving the go to hell look and threw my sundae into a bag causing it to open and spill in the bag. She then had to make a new one with no apology or acceptance that she had made any mistake. read more

Needs ALOT of cleaning. The place is packed but there has to be some way to clean it's just unsanitary and makes hard to eat in the restaurant when it's so dirty. If you love ice cream and frozen custard, you'll love this place. So many choices, so many possibilities... If you haven't had frozen custard, you truly don't know what you are missing out on. Growing up on ice cream (which is also very good here) I didn't know what I was missing out on. So if you also have this issue, Braum's is the place to find out what you've been missing. Ice cream Sunday's are also my favorite here, they do a really good job making them. They come in a plastic container so you don't spill it on the drive home. I have only had dessert here, so I can not comment on there other food. But they always have a bunch of people eating inside so it must be good. read more

I'm giving this location three stars only because their ice cream was so amazing. The cleanliness of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. There were flies all over the place on this particular visit. Most other locations of this chain are in much better shape. Negativity aside, the ice cream here is amazing and some of the best that I've had anywhere. It is also some of the cheapest that you will find. It's hard to beat that combination. I highly recommend the german chocolate as well as chocolate chip cookie dough. Another positive would be despite the store being so busy, the line did move fast. The staff was friendly. I'm honestly not sure what more they could do about the flies but it was definitely a bit off putting. I'll continue to patronize Braum's in general though probably not this location in particular. read more

What's with this location?? Flies everywhere buzzing around trying to get a taste of the mediocre teenage prepared palate displeasing junk. Our family has been a fan of Braum's since the 80's, please get it together! The flies that did get lucky enough to score some are dead along the window sills. Clean up and check your food before sending them out, it's cold burgers (dry buns) and old dried out fries (brown not golden). Why is this location lacking? I continue to frequent the store for dairy goods, but the other side is too dark for me. read more
