Disappointed with Braun's... cold chicken strips with way too much breading and zero flavor, cold fries, and lukewarm grilled chicken sandwich made this a meal we couldn't eat. Braum's should stop serving chicken if they can't get this right. On the plus side... their strawberry shakes. Braums is basically an institution in the Midwest however this is my worse less-than-stellar experience at the Grove OK location. Today, the dining area was just gross! There were absolutely no clean tables to even sit at while waiting on food order.my husband ordered a shake (upgrade included) with his combo meal and was handed a large soda cup. When he questioned this, the employee, said he could order a shake at an 'additional charge.' Then after a lengthy wait for our order to be prepared, it was not complete, as in the shakes were not included and after quite a wait at the counter, my husband was told it was 'going to take awhile..' so another wait and when we got home, my salad consisted of wilted, brown lettuce and maybe one small chicken strip chopped on top. I don't know what kind of green chilies these were but in California, chicken sandwiches have very mild green chilies on them. When I saw seeds on my Braum's chicken sandwich I wisely tasted just a, smaller than a dime piece, and wow I didn't expect it to burn my mouth the way it did. My mouth burned for an hour afterwards too. Very uncomfortable. I threw my sandwich away immediately and so did my aunt who ordered the same sandwich. Reading these reviews are quite something! It appears this small town has too many people from bigger cities expecting pretentious Starbucks service. This is a lake town with teenagers who have been thrown to the wolves with little no training! I know this because I used to live in a town like this. So next time you visit a place like this. Maybe, instead of complaining about what "you" didn't get...it might be a better experience if you go with your family or friends and enjoy their company while you wait. Be grateful there are still teenagers who work at these unmanaged establishments, that they're under unbelievable pressure from their customers and they were never good at cleaning up after themselves in their own homes. Just to bump our rating up lol I work here Sometimes the wait can be atrocious but only because so many people come in. It's not the kitchen's fault or the workers' fault (most of the time). The only reason the counters are dirty or the shake machines aren't the cleanest is because we're busy serving customers. The rush is 24/7. Food is very good, shakes are amazing if blended correctly. If shakes or food is not done correctly please just find an idle worker and ask them to remake. Most of us are trying our best. read more

We ordered two malts, not shakes, a single scoop of ice cream and a large fries. They placed the fries on the counter for 10 minutes while they made the ice cream. They made shakes, not malts and then told me they didn't have any malt powder. Really? And what about that single scoop of ice cream you ask... They forgot to make it. If I could give this a zero based on service I would. I have family in Grove and have been a Braum's fan for over 30 years, but my last few experiences have been a service nightmare. The other times I had not written negative reviews because I wanted to give them another chance. Today's small order took over 45 minutes to get correct. It was about 35 minutes before they called our order number and then told me our order was so late because the shake was not made. I asked the manager on duty why this store has been having so many issues lately. Her response was not enough employees. There were 10 people working behind the counter! The boy taking orders literally left the counter to walk around and chat to workers not behind the counter a minimum of 5 times. In addition, after telling him twice how I wanted one burger- nothing but meat cheese and extra pickles- he still put it in incorrectly, so our order was wrong after waiting 35 minutes. Our issue was not the only one. After we had been waiting 15+ minutes it was clear that this whole ordeal was happening to multiple people around us too. What happened to the efficient Braum's that I know? They were completely disorganized, people were not addressing current orders. I left extremely frustrated. I have only written one other negative review in my life and it was not Braum's or in Grove. Today was just completely ridiculous. Please prioritize your current patron's orders, improve your systems' to increase efficiency, and remind your employees to pay attention to the orders they are taking instead of socializing with their friends throughout the store.
