This place is seriously the worst of the worst. I have complained numerous times to corporate to no avail. Each week they have new employees who must pass a rudeness class. The place is never clean. Tonight was a kicker tho. I'm hearing impaired. I placed my order and walked to pay. Apparently the guy taking my order said something to me I didn't hear and someone got my attention I turned to him he rolled his eyes with a disgusted look. I flat told him to lose the attitude or I'd go elsewhere I didn't bother with speaking to the shift manager. She too had same look. On a long weekend trip to NW Arkansas, I checked out 2 burger chains that we do not have in Kansas City - Whataburger and Braum's. Braum's won the burger battle hand's down. Food was cold ordered burgers cheese wasn't melted! Just down right nasty and cold! Restaurant was dirty too and way too expensive !

Stopped by and order a burger and fry combo and a separate large fry. The fries are luke warm at best. The burger is the same and the cheese on the burger is still cold. This is being generous in giving even a 1 star. Should have turned around as soon as we walked in. Been on the road 10 hours. How can you go wrong with Braum's? This place was filthy. Floors, tables, bathrooms. We waited 25-30 min for our food and that is even when we had to check on it. Ketchup on two burgers we requested to make sure no ketchup. Fries were just spilling over onto the dirty tray... where is the paper lined tray at least? Yuck. No ice in the ice machine. People were sitting down at dirty tables. Didn't see one person come and wipe a table down the whole time we were there. How this place passes inspection I have no idea. So disappointed. Whenever I travel to Oklahoma, Braum's is a must have before heading back to Kansas City. The burgers at Braum's are like no other. You must try it if you like burgers. You will be hooked! I also like their crinkly fries. You can't leave without dessert. I always get a banana split. It still tastes the same today as it did when I first tried it. read more

Waited over forty minutes for two cups of ice cream. Ladies working behind the counter didn't want to be there and did everything but make our shakes. Manager yelled at them after I went to the counter on four different occasions and still nothing happened. Everything good at Braums. Especially the milk! Staff is always friendly and helpful and the vegetables and fruit are always fresh.

Went to this location on 2/27/21 about 1:00 p.m. Waited in line to place my order for a few minutes - no problem. Got up to the register to place my order and everyone had vacated the registers. I wait for about 5 minutes and numerous employees came and went from the area and not one employee acknowledged me. Finally an employee said someone would be with me. Again I wait........finally left as an employee finally made her way to the register. Boy, did I feel unimportant to Braun's! I went to Sonic for lunch. read more

Okay so ill start this review with some negatives and end it with a positive. I have dined here several times since moving to Carthage but tonight I had the best experience I have ever had here. In the past, the counters have been sticky and nasty (to be expected in a place with sugar drinks) but tonight I had Lorie who served me and she even brought my order to the table because my order was delayed. I don't know if she is to blame but everything in my eyes view was immaculate (I know that's brand new to her hire(daily eater)). Let's hope they don't burn her out and they make more adult hires like her. read more

Adding yet another location to our list of Braum's that we've visited over the years. I'd put this one in the solid top tier of Braum's. The food, as always, was very good. Where we always see the difference is in speed of service- and this one was slightly above the average Braum's. This place not only has the best food and desserts, they also have employees that care about the customers, and more specific......veterans! One of their employees, Joshua, who learned that my father-in-law was a veteran, had paid for the entire ticket, by the time my wife went to counter to pay. Joshua stated he felt compelled to pay upon hearing that Roy was a Marine Veteran. We stop here all the time on our way to 66 Drive-in. The food is always good and so are the shakes. They sometimes forget to put the malt powder in the malt, but it's forgivable and they are not the only Braum's that fails to do that. The staff is very friendly. Reasonable prices. read more
