The wait staff stayed on the floor taking excellent care of the patrons. They relayed their orders to the kitchen via a handheld called a Leo2 device. The kitchen obviously had some items pre-prepped. The dishes are very well presented and range from tipical South tyrolean to mediterranean and international. The wine list is interesting and has a choice of very good quality wines. A wide range of local producers but also wines from other italian regions. Interesting tip: they brew their own beer. You reach Saxifraga from the Tappeiner Promenade or from the long/steep steps that start behind the absides of the Duomo Cathedral in town. Don't be discouraged by the steps.
