I went for my pedicure and then stopped into Chesterfield Jewelers. I honestly didn't know it was there and had never been. Lovely store and the bench guy was able to take the watch right away and replace the battery while I walked around. A person who walks into a jewelry store for a watch battery is the bane of every jeweler's existence. Why? Because the watch battery person never wants anything else but the battery. You can't upsell them and it's possible you will never see them again. I know this because I am in a different facet of the jewelry business. I was that person on this day and they were truly nice as can be to me even though I walked in about 30 minutes before they were closing and they were packing up the showcases. My watch was working and I went out of town the following day and wore the watch over the weekend. This was a very lovely store and I will be back for more than just a watch battery.
