On a bed of deep-fried arepa (a ground maize dough that is deep fried), shredded ham and cheese, boiled egg, cabbage, parmesan cheese, and a few different sauces. This dish is full of flavor, loved the Picahna, and overall absolutely delicious. Initially I thought the arepa was some kind of fried potato...similar flavor and texture but the lady explained how they are made. I could actually eat these as an appetizer with a dipping sauce. Overall...this dish is a repeat with a different protein. I also saw their Picahna burger...definitely something I want to try.

It had a perfectly crispy crust, and I LOVED the corn dough used for the empanadas. They're so much more flavorful than flour based empanadas in my opinion. There was a Mexican option an a Venezuelan option. I obviously chose the second one. I ordered an arepa and an empanada. The arepa is basically a deep fried sandwich with a meat and cheese on it. The food was pretty good overall. The wait time was probably about 12 minutes. They do have a covered patio with blaring Latino music. A bit much for me to eat there.

Very refreshing. I can't have enough of this place, I'm so glad I can find Venezuelan food at a decent price and that it's actually DELICIOUS. They are located on exit 60 of I-24 (Old Hickory Blvd I believe) on the Shell gas station. Parking can be a little tricky on the busy hours as they also have a Mexican restaurant next door but it's definitely worth it. The lady was very nice and attentive. There were a few orders before ours but the food was made fairly fast and it was fresh. They accept cash and credit/debit card payments. I will definitely be coming back here more often to give my soul a taste of the OG home. Come check them out!

The team behind the counter was working fast and got our order out super quick. I opted for a chicken burrito and it took all of my self control to keep from eating it on the drive home. But like all great explorers of old, we had to take our bounty back to the motherland for all to enjoy. I cut it open and see what the cross section looked like, and it was practically perfect. I forgot to ask for avocado, so that's on me. We got the red and green salsas with it and they were both great. I loved the roasty undertones and heat of the red salsa.
