WARNING TO WOMEN AND LGBTQ! DO NOT STAY HERE! We were harassed and treated with such aggression…read moreand threatening behavior that I want to warn everyone about this place, especially women. My partner went to the desk to add a night on to our stay but was accused of lying about how long we had a pet on the property. The young man at the front desk followed her back to the room, tried to enter the room while I was not fully dressed and in the bathroom, told us to leave immediately at 9:30am or he was calling the police. He sat on the stoop next to our door to survey us getting all our belongings out in a hurry. I asked him why he was there and asked him to leave multiple times. He didn't leave. He wouldn't leave. He wasn't making sense when we tried to reason with him. We left the property in such stress and in a huge hurry because we were fleeing. It was traumatic and violating and they should be reported to the police, the city, the BBB and especially any women who would consider staying here. We plan to take action but wanted to write a review quickly so others could be warned. Also it's important that women know - It's a highly surveyed hotel, with cameras obviously outside. The employee evicted us, and monitored us threateningly at the door of our room the entire time we were trying to pack up, brush our teeth, change out of pajamas, etc.... He would not leave (I asked him multiple times to leave) and the door was open often because we were frantically getting our belongings out. I felt like he was trying to see me in a state of undress because he evicted us when I was obviously in my house clothes, then tried to enter the room and also stood at the door while we were vacating. We were also nervous about his presence because we had valuables. I am absolutely 100% sure this would not have happened to two men staying in their hotel.

The owner offers use of a fire pit, bbq, covered pavilion, waterfall, beautiful outdoor areas available for use with all the firewood, charcoal, lighter fluid, etc you could possibly use during your stay provided. That's not even the greatest part of our stay........ I saved that for last. The best part is how genuinely kind, caring, and truely invested in your stay the owner and his wife are. They are amazing. You can't go wrong staying here!! Don't believe me? It's so affordable that I dare you to stay a night or 3 lol and see for yourself. Do not recommend this place expeshly if you have a dog or a registered service dog like we do for…read moremedical problems when we book they said nothing about having create are dog plus how is he supposed to alert me of when I'm about to have a Sezuire or go get me help they complained about his hair he's a German shepherd he going shed I even spent are own money on a broom and cleaning stuff clean the room to help with the hair not to talk about the hundreds of dollars down the drain since we head to cut are vacation short thanks to them husband missed out on about 2 hours on boat rental because the keys were never given and the troily motor on the bought went out after a few hours plus the motel we going stay out we canceled because we going stay her but then they wanted big deal about my service animal and that room way already gone so we had to drive 4 hours home and my husband loose out on money he spent for his fishing license that he only got to use for a day when we payed for 3 and the heater in the bedroom did not work at all we come up here alot and have lots of family and also friends and like make big long trips out of it but after are experience all of are friends and family heard about what has happed they will never come back or recommend this place to anyone and we will never stay here again we spend extra and go else were somewhere we won't lose hundreds of dollars in money and not complain about my service dog and put my life one the line because they want him created 24/7 not to mention they charge us more then they were supposed to!!!!
