It's fine. We've stayed here a few times over the years. Nothing special but also nothing offensive either. Unless the geese are on your site. We stayed in 50A FHU pull-through site 77 this time. What I like about Branson Lakeside RV Park: - Proximity to Branson Landing and the cute little old downtown area - Fairly quiet - On the lake - so a nice view - Concrete pads - 50A full hookups - Newer, much larger sites if one wishes to upgrade their accommodations at a higher rate - At your site trash bag pickup What I don't care for as much: - The sites in the area we are always put in with our shorter RV are what I think are the older sites and they are narrow - The buddy site they put me in was awkward to get into as there was a tree on one side and a street light pole on the other side. The site was about 60 feet long. Another thing that made this site awkward was the placement of the utilities. I had to park the RV (travel trailer) at the front of the site and my truck was fully in the street while hitching and un-hitching. Once unhitched, I parked the truck behind the RV. If I were to stay in Branson again, I'd check into the RV park just across the lake on the other side of the lower bridge. read more

The ladies, Angie, and the office were very sweet. Very helpful. The RV park was very clean. Has nice access to the lake for fishing. You can walk on some docks and watch the sunset. The bathrooms are clean, but need an update. They have a free shuttle that comes through to bring you to downtown Branson about 12 different stops It's walking distance to "the landing". "The landing" has a water show every hour. lots of restaurants and shops. read more

Very nice people in the office. Switched up our site to be by the dog park and was not a problem on the off season. Washers and dryers were nice! Bathroom and showers very clean. If you want a fire pit Mae sure you have one at your sit or bring your own. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights. This is a great diamond in the rough. Sites are big, and you have an awesome view of the river. The bridge that's next to the park is beautiful, but I wish it was lit up at night. The staff here is awesome, and the bath house was clean and had plenty of hot water. The kids had fun playing in the cold water and having access to the docks. We got to enjoy the free shuttle that takes you downtown right from the park. If we are ever in the area again, we will make sure this is the place to stay. read more

Worst campsite in 40 years of travel! The campground does not let you pick your site. So you might get a nice site or you might get this! Sent an email weeks before arriving and received no response. If you like this type (see picture) then make a reservation. Our rig is on the left in the picture. The sewer connection for the next site is about three feet from our steps. It is a nice location relative to shopping and the lake. Probably should call to verify what you will arrive to. Good luck! read more

Pros: right on the lake. My son loved seeing the ducks and sitting by the water. Close to the boardwalk shops. Clean park. Level paved sites. Good water pressure. Cons: LOUD. We have a toddler and the noise level from the highway right above us kept he awake/woke him up often. Sites are very small and close together. Wishing we had done a little more research on the location before booking, knowing we wanted a quiet campground so really that's on us. We didn't notice how close the downtown area was when booking. read more

Location is terrible! I knew the highway would be loud but the cars here rev their engines all night so I wish I would have found a quieter park. Camp sites are WAY TO CLOSE my slide out was with in inches of my Nieghbors slide out and we could not have awnings all the way out. The worst part is this park is open for the public to drive through. The Neighborhood accesses through the park and blare their music all night. And the walk to the stores expect to be treated by drunk and high people the whole time. And no fire pits at camp sites. They just poured concrete pads and could have included a whole for a fire pit built right in! I had high hopes for this place. read more

We are new to RV camping and chose Branson Lakeside RV Park for our first outing. We have only good things to say about this city park. Booking online was easy, the directions to get there, rather than following a GPS were helpful, the location within walking distance of the Branson Landing and Downtown Branson was perfect for how we spend our time in Branson. Self check in was a breeze as Well. The fact that it is right on Lake Taneycomo was terrific. Downtown Branson runs a trolley service that comes to the park 9 am -6 pm. This RV park is on the route and there is an App to track arrival times. There are a lot of options based on the size of your camper, pull through or back in, proximity to bathrooms or dog park or lake. They have paved spaces and a few fire pits. To be sure we made the right choice we visited 5!other Branson RV parks and were pleased with Lakeside as our first excursion over Thanksgiving 2020. We especially appreciated the dog friendly community, walkability, and location. We also took advantage of the 4 fishing docks ans Scotty's Boat Dock Tackle shop to purchase tackle and fishing licenses. Because it was such a great experience, we returned for a week between Christmas ans New Years a month later. Because we are just 2 hours away in NW Arkansas, we are sure to visit this campground several times a year. A couple of items that people might not like are the train that runs nearby, and you don't know which spot you have until you arrive. read more

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my stay at Branson Lakeside RV Park. My husband and I have been coming here for 6 years and meet up with friends who themselves have been coming here for twice as long as us. We booked reservations for this year while camping on site last July so there would be no issue on the adjacent sites we wanted to camp at this year. When we arrived on July 1, we were not placed on the sites we had booked. We were told those sites were not available and it didn't matter that we had booked a year in advance. Staff would not work with us. The site my husband and I were given was too small for the trailer we were pulling. In addition, there was not enough room to extend our awning. We stepped out of our front door and were able to touch the slide out of the trailer next to us as well as having to dodge their sewer hookup. I understand that in an emergency, it is not always possible to get the site that you have booked, but we were given no reason as to why we were placed somewhere different. It seems that each year this campground has progressively slid downhill. Yes, there have been improvements for the premium sites and they are able to accommodate large RVs. The location is also fabulous. However, if management is unable or unwilling to give you the site that you reserved than I see no reason to book in advance. There were several larger sites around us that remained unoccupied for our entire stay. What is wrong with this picture? I think the park has become too comfortable in their position of being the only RV park in that area. I am thankful that that is soon to change as there are two new parks being built on the other side of the lake. read more

They have a super friendly and very helpful staff one of the best RV Parks I've parked in they can accommodate little trailers and big supersized RVs. You're right next to the lake with the marina for hook ups and plenty of space to maneuver around we are looking forward to coming back to this park my family felt very safe and secure. They even come space to space each day to pick up the trash now that service Wi-Fi work incredibly well they include cable TV along with dumping station if you need him but every location has 50 amp service read more

Nice park, decent WIFI, hospitable staff. Be sure to bring A LOT of mosquito spray because they're numerous and hungry. They have water front and but also shadier spots in the back which is what I'll recommend so your A/C isn't overworked keeping your rig cool. The dog park area is sub par but we were there for the view and proximity to Branson's Landing which they do well with. read more

This may be a very nice RV park. However after making a reservation and my plans changed due to problems with the motorhome, I called the Rv Park to cancel my reservation and they would not refund the first night charge of $33. This is the reason why RV Parks get a bad name. Poor policy read more

The location is what attracts clientele. The proximity to the landing and downtown. Sites vary significantly. My problem is management. I do understand that working with people can be challenging but the lack of any continuity is very troubling. When we arrived for a week and included a 4 night stay for another site. My problems began in the early stages. I came in a day early. I was located on a different site for one night as my site was supposedly occupied. That was not the case. So I moved the next day for other site. Then they couldn't find my other reservation. Finally that was concluded. Most of this had to be done over the phone which means call and leave a message . Most of the time u just keep calling as return calls didn't happen. I tryed to stay an extra night because of a snow and ice storm in route home. Vacant sites through out but wanted me to move. I called 5 hours before my return call occurred. At that point we left. If they had called in a reasonable time frame we would have left at that point. But no call untill the snow started. I very seldom write a bad review because I know there are 2 sided. In my view this is just plain and simple poor management. read more

We stayed here two nights. The RV sites are clean and level. The park is right on the lake and is the number one stop for the trolley that circles around downtown. It is a short walk to the waterfront and several nice restaurants. It's a good place to stay while taking in the attractions That downtown Branson Missouri as the offer. read more

My dad wanted to visit Branson so it was my job to find us a site. I called to make a reservation and we got lucky and got a spot. She was very helpful and made sure to get very detailed info to make sure our rig would fit. They only had back in sites and it being our first non pull through we were a tad worried. Again she assured us we'd fit. Check in was a breeze. They take Goodsam so sign up your stay here will cover the cost. We were guided to our site and the gentleman in the cart helped us back in. The cement pads were great leveling the rig was a piece of cake. The hook ups are in the rear so bring a long hose. The views at the property are amazing. Lots of wildlife and the lake such a great amenity. The restrooms are spacious and the clubhouse has lots of brochures if you had yet to gather a pile. The laundry room has a change dispenser and lots of machines. The marina is ice and if you want they rent large boats. They have a lot of bait and tackle. They also sell fish licenses if you plan on fishing. They're four docks to fish st complete with benches. All the staff have been very friendly and helpful. So glad we got a spot here sure raises the bar for parks. Oh and that lake is Cold!! Refreshing on a hot day it was 87F but that lake is cold. Don't go swimming unless you are a cold water swimmer. read more

This place was amazing and the staff is very friendly! After an incident at a neighboring rv park I called Lakeside to check on availability. I spoke to a woman in the office who was very accommodating. Although the office was closed when we arrived we were met by a gentleman on a golf cart who escorted us to our site. The grounds were pretty and very clean. I would recommend this park to anyone traveling in the area. read more
