We stayed here for 2 nights. This is a great diamond in the rough. Sites are big, and you have an awesome view of the river. The bridge that's next to the park is beautiful, but I wish it was lit up at night. The staff here is awesome, and the bath house was clean and had plenty of hot water. The kids had fun playing in the cold water and having access to the docks. We got to enjoy the free shuttle that takes you downtown right from the park. If we are ever in the area again, we will make sure this is the place to stay.

    Campsites too close!

Worst campsite in 40 years of travel! The campground does not let you pick your site. So you might get a nice site or you might get this! Sent an email weeks before arriving and received no response. If you like this type (see picture) then make a reservation. Our rig is on the left in the picture. The sewer connection for the next site is about three feet from our steps. It is a nice location relative to shopping and the lake. Probably should call to verify what you will arrive to. Good luck!

    Great location

They have a super friendly and very helpful staff one of the best RV Parks I've parked in they can accommodate little trailers and big supersized RVs. You're right next to the lake with the marina for hook ups and plenty of space to maneuver around we are looking forward to coming back to this park my family felt very safe and secure. They even come space to space each day to pick up the trash now that service Wi-Fi work incredibly well they include cable TV along with dumping station if you need him but every location has 50 amp service

    Great views, decently priced.

Nice park, decent WIFI, hospitable staff. Be sure to bring A LOT of mosquito spray because they're numerous and hungry. They have water front and but also shadier spots in the back which is what I'll recommend so your A/C isn't overworked keeping your rig cool. The dog park area is sub par but we were there for the view and proximity to Branson's Landing which they do well with.

Very friendly, laid-back & accommodating staff. I left the grounds hurriedly & forgot to pay & they called & let me pay over the phone. Never sounded impatient or upset in anyway. Quiet, clean campgrounds with a beautiful location next to the lake!

Outstanding location near downtown. Free trolley picks up in park. Lake views from majority of sites.

Fabulous place, especially if you are lucky enough to get a spot that faces the lake. Friendly people & the park is kept us real well.

The park is right on the lake and is the number one stop for the trolley that circles around downtown.

The sites are very nice and mostly surrounded by trees. You are in a canyon so it is so quiet. The downside is, it is in a canyon. The sites are all terraced Dow a hillside, this can make for some tricky maneuvering. Not the best place if you are not well versed in moving your tow vehicle. But if you are, this is the closest park to many showers and attractions allowing you to walk to many.

Musicland Kampground in Branson is the best managed private campground I have come across in three decades of RV-ing. It starts at the top - David the owner is hands-on and keeps in touch, riding around and checking on things. A good manager hires good people and David has exceptional people all around. The people that park you and bring propane to your site are all very personable. First impressions are drawn when you first see a very well kept facility with thoughtful touches. All the sites are in excellent shape and nothing goes wanting. Then one meets the office staff and realizes that they are in a quality run place. Madeline in the office is a sweetheart and so personable, she would find a way to do anything she can for you. You are never an annoyance to her. Yet, I have never seen a treasure as is Rebeccah. She is the epitome of efficiency and action. I have never witnessed a more capable person in the service business. Every time I pull up on the scooter to collect packages, she has them in her hand before I enter the office. She can handle the phone while dealing with customers standing before her with aplomb...never rattled. She always has everything in order and yet has one of the lovliest personalities I've ever come across - I give her some playful guff and she throws it right back at me. In sum, this is a near-perfect campground - the facilities, the management, the staff and the best location right on the Branson "Strip" all blend to make this the best campground experience so far in my lifetime. Between the awesome…read morewibit and lake, to the new pool with cabanas, to the super fun playground, this place always has my kiddo and his cousins entertained and busy. It is very safe, so I never hesitate to let the kids run and play, giving my husband and I time to relax at the site. It is worth noting, this used to be a Jellystone, which we frequented A LOT. There was a year or two they were switching over to Great Escapes and needed a little patience, but this year was phenomenal and they definitely have their processes down. The cafe has some great food, so no need to ever leave. They even have sites with dog pens available, and a dog park. This makes a difference because I have one dog that doesn't like to potty while leashed. We always stay at least once in the summer to use the wibit and pools, then again in October to participate in the fun Halloween activities they always host. This year they had the hay ride with magic pumpkin patch, the Halloween crafts throughout the day, then the costume contest and trick-or-treating that evening. They even do a site decorating contest. This year the local Taney County 100 Club hosted a chili cookoff, so all campers got to participate in this and try all the different chilis and vote, while helping out a good cause. The kids also got to see the firetruck and ambulance. We were hesitant at first because we really loved the previous owners of the Jellystone. But the new managers have really grown on us and so have all of their staff! This campground is definitely at the top of our list!

This place is formerly a jellystone park. We have jellystone's and visit them in Texas a lot and they are packed. Filled with kids, super lively. Activities every hour, on the hour so we can spend the whole day at the campground doing different activities. This is what we expected I guess from the campground. First, on May 26 I cancelled a RV spot we had reserved and paid for in full. Our RV had been totaled in a tornado. Instead, we joined other family members in a cabin and upgraded their cabin to fit us all. The prices were cheaper than jellystone's, so this was a nice perk we were excited about. 1st call: I was told my reservation was cancelled and refunded. 2nd call (a week before our visit): I was told the refund was actually never processed and they did it and I should have it shortly. 3rd call (day before arrival): I was told they switched to a new system and refunds were having issues and we were one of the families with the reported issues and "someone would call me with an update shortly." I also purchased early check in since we were driving 10 hours through the night and would be there at 8 AM. I confirmed what time early check in started and was told 8 AM. I show up the next morning at 8:30 AM and main office is closed with a sign saying office is at the pool. I walk to the pool, they are closed as well. I call to ask how to do my early check in and I'm told they open at 9:00 AM and if my info wasn't left in the after hours check in box I would need to wait. This was my first complaint. So, so tired.. with a car full of kids and dogs. All I wanted to do was get into my cabin and rest. We ended up waiting. I checked in, but the man at the front didn't know where our information was and though he was very friendly, it just wasnt very smooth. A lady (the man's wife) showed up and checked us in and I asked again about my refund. She said she would process it. It showed up on our bank account then the transaction fell off. We spent the whole trip checking with her and our bank on this refund. We left, still no refund so far. We drove to our cabin and as we showed up a maintenance man showed up before us and rushed into our cabin before us. We were a bit uncomfortable not knowing if we should go in or wait, so we stayed outside and waited. He came out and while he was friendly, again, seemed a bit unprofessional and scattered. Shouldn't this have been done before we checked in? The cabin is new but BEWARE - The bunk beds and the futon are hands down the most uncomfortable beds I have EVER slept in. I suffer from RA and these beds left me nearly paralyzed each morning as it took me extra long to warm up my joints enough to move around after these nightmare mattresses. The air conditioners were nice and worked well. The tv's are not connected to even basic television so we weren't able to watch tv in the evenings or early mornings. The internet did not reach our cabin. Seemed there was more staff who lived there and seasonal residents than visitors. Overall, we enjoyed there being no additional charge for pets. The staff were friendly. This place just needs to work on their business practices and professionalism, everything seemed a bit scattered and disorganized.
