Very disappointing experience.

Note, too, that there is no driveway or lot to drive into: they service your car at the curb in front of their shop at 1061 MacDonald Ave (head for this address and ignore the Foster Ave. address shown in Yelp). They are still affordable and fast: they quoted $10 for a plug repair and $15 for a patch. The tire was patched and remounted in under 15 minutes. A friend of mine referred me to this auto repair shop because I needed a mechanic to change a leaking oil pan, fluids and get an inspection (in Queens). Of all the repair shops I've been to, this shop has a Japanese owner (which is a rarity in NYC). The mechanic who did the work is Mexican...not that it would make a difference because a good mechanic is a good mechanic no matter who he is. Most of all, they're willing to do the labor if I bring the replacement parts. As for the shop, it's small and cluttered with three lifts. It has a second level loft-like sitting/waiting area for customers. Guys would not mind hanging out to wait but If you're a female customer, this place is no powder puff shop. The work done on my SUV was completed quickly without major issues. The price charged was reasonable because I expected it to be more. As a owner of a car hitting 100k miles and planning to drive it a few more years, I would return to this repair shop for future work (if I can't do it myself).
