I received a call at 7:30 am from Mary (thank you for getting on it Mary) and Jeremy arrived shortly thereafter. Professional, educated and well spoken. He was careful to put on his shoe covers so not track the outside into our home. Quick and professional, the problem discovered, part replaced, the job was complete. Before leaving Jeremy educated me and answered all my questions additionally he looked over the rest of the unit in the attic. The price was fair and I would absolutely recommend! Great team, thank you.

We have four different systems at this place, a gas heater in garage, Mitsubishi cassette above the garage, heat pump, and a geo-thermal system. Finding someone who is able to deal with all those at once hasn't been easy. We found one company, but then he ghosted us because he had staffing issues. Kurt showed up for a fall check-up. First time here. And he found a filter in an exchanger/handler that all 3 previous HVAC people missed. The place had been vacant for 5 years before we bought it 2 years ago and it clearly hadn't been changed in all that time. We had an airflow issue on the second floor, and this filter was the 2nd stop up from the basement. All the prior companies had looked at the same piece of equipment and not one of them noticed there was a filter to be changed. Until Kurt. It was so filthy and clogged it's no wonder we had an air flow problem. That alone gets DiBiase 5 stars. But we've also used them before at our last property and they were equally knowledgeable, polite, educational, and effective. And they take thorough notes, pictures, and truly build a file on your property which says they know about relationship management and are in it for the the long haul. I'm a tough sell, but I'm sold on DiBiase.

After the gas line was turned on, a gas leak occurred, requiring PECO to replace parts on the gas meter. Based on the PECO technicians' experience, they indicated that opening a gas valve too quickly can sometimes contribute to a gas leak. On the other hand, DiBiase explained that, in their view, the issue was not related to how the gas was turned back on but rather to the age of the PECO meter, which they believe would have failed regardless. To the company's credit, they discussed the situation with me and provided an additional year of free maintenance. While I appreciate their response and the added maintenance, I'm not convinced the installation wasn't a contributing factor. I hope they review their installation procedures to help prevent this type of issue from happening to future customers.

When I spoke with Tom he was the definition of professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and transparent with his pricing. He came by later that same day to evaluate the job and provided a quote within 24 hours which came in substantially less than his competitors for the exact same work/materials. Initially I had some reservations about moving forward with Comfort Air because they had no online reviews but Tom readily provided three references who only had great things to say about their experience with him. And boy am I glad I went with Tom. He owns the company and does all the work himself ensuring its quality. He replaced the whole system with a new Unico system (and even helped fix a couple of my old ducts that needed some TLC) over the course of a morning. He and his team came prepared, worked efficiently, and left the space spotless when they were done. Comfort Air/Tom delivers excellent service for a competitive price and is the great type of business that seems so hard to come by these days. I truly could not have hoped for more!

On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.
