While we were at first reluctant to trust this company without personally supervising, we were extremely pleased with the outcome! Shaun's wife helped us choose the color (by phone!) and we love the "Revere Pewter" color suggested. No touch-ups were necessary and he left the place immaculate. Subsequently, we decided to let him paint the 3 story outside decking and stairs along with some minor repairs. Again, very happy with his work. Not any sloppy work whatsoever. Then, we arranged for him to re-stain and do minor repairs on our own vacation home nearby. The two story wrap around porch and 3 sets of stairs had been stripped of previous sealant. He re-pressured washed and stained, and sealed all of it. It looked fantastic! All of his work was very reasonably priced and done in a timely manner. We will arrange for him to paint the outside of our home within the year. Shaun is talented , personable, dependable and hard-working. However spend a few minutes walking around and you won't believe it. Sloppy Sloppy Sloppy. One of the owners slipped and told me over the phone their housekeeper has been there painting. Yes, their housekeeper. I hired Shaun Harper to paint my home not their maid. Even if she were qualified to paint, Shaun and Ashley should have checked her work. They clearly had not been there at all. If they had been, they would have seen this mess. So they either went to my home and inspected and thought this to be a good job or they weren't there at all. Which is worse? Subsequently they went on vacation. I wasn't going to bother them with all of these issues while they were away. BUT THEN IT HAPPENED, I read an email from Shaun's wife about the balance of the job. She threatened that Shaun would damage my property. "You don't know my husband very well. But he WILL come back and take all of the paint he bought... Whether it is on walls, trim, doors or ceilings. I need to hear from you today, Craig, no if, &s or buts." I think that sums up my review. They aren't even worth 1 star.
