Great doctor. Very concerned with finding the actual problem than making it. Always has appointments available.

Dr carpio is very attentive to my concers regarding health and lifestyle issues…read more He listens, doesn't force anything on me just gives me the information and we decide together the best approach. I highly recommend him as a family doctor!

This experience is about Dr. Carpio, how he handled the situation and Sutter Medical as a Medical…read moreGroup. My family had to find a new primary care physician. Haven't done this in 15 years. Dr. Carpio's office said the final step was to come to their office for an intake appointment. Mind you, we had NO MEDICAL NEED TO DO THIS. The three of us went and had our 8 minute "nice to meet you, quick medical background review" appointment and went home. We were billed $800 for these appointments. With a high deductible plan, that comes out of my pocket. $800 for an appointment we didn't need. SHAME ON THEM. A fee was never discussed beforehand and I never assumed there'd be a charge since we DID NOT ASK FOR OR NEED THE APPOINTMENT. Worse yet, Dr. Carpio refused to return the multiple messages i left for him to discuss the matter. I won't even go into the BS "coding" that was done to "correctly" bill the appointments. The coding referenced things that weren't even discussed in the appointment. Dr. Carpio is part of the problem. Charging/coding for things that were never discussed to justify a fee. It's not how a normal business is supposed to run but it's how we've all accepted the medical/insurance industry runs. We've since found another primary care physician and the last thing their intake person told us prior to hanging up the phone was "you do need to come in for an appointment to finalize your onboarding as new patients but LET'S WAIT UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A NEED before we do that." I will never go to SUTTER or DR. CARPIO again. Other medical groups and doctors offer the same level of service at a much more affordable price.

WORST DOCTOR ON THE PLANET!…read more This woman is not a doctor, she is a monster with zero positive bones in her body. I've decided to change providers, since she was the absolute worst doctor I've ever encountered in my entire life. She never even bothered to go over the entire list of issues that I actually have. The main purpose of my coming to her was a serious pain in my side, which I've had for almost 3 weeks now (which I STILL HAVE). Instead, she chose to be incredibly rude by attacking, insulting, belittling, and bullying me about my life's choice to help my special needs child as a stay at home mom who home schools. I got lectured on how my daughter needed to be in public school and I had to get a job, because God forbid something happened to my husband, I would have to get a job working. She seemed unhinged that I was a home-schooling stay at home mom, and she told me a minimum of 4 times that I needed to get a job. One of the items that I had on my list was weight loss help, and she had zero problem saying that "Clearly I have some work to do." I own a mirror. I'm aware that I have a weight problem. Another turn off was the fact that she had her hair dyed about 12 different clownish colors. She looked ridiculous, and it was completely unprofessional for a doctor's office. I came in with six items, and she helped with 1-1/2 of them, and those were with a contingency attached. She was disgusted with my existence, and I felt like I was in a twilight zone with this berating monster. I immediately switched doctors, but I felt that this needed to be told. A caring doctor would actually read the notes, and not focus on the fact that I was unemployed. What does that have to do with the fact that I was in need of medical attention? I'm still in pain, w/ zero resolution. ***** I knew I wasn't crazy when I found these other reviews on this website that said: https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-holly-leeds-ytsd2 Inconsiderate, rude! Acts like she knows everything even your problem before you describe it. Types on laptop the whole time not personable at all. Very difficult to speak with, grills you looking for alternative agenda. I felt like she was anticipating drug seeking behavior. I did not come to the Dr for any medications.... I would not recommend her! I will be looking for a new Doc!! She acts bothered to see you. Dr. Leeds clearly has her own agenda. There seems to be no effort towards a professional practice. She does not seem to care what the patient expresses...she believes she knows what she knows and that is the final answer. This Dr. does not seem willing to work with you in managing your health care. It seems that it will be her way, or the highway. Good luck if you place your trust here! ***** Also, what does it tell you when on WebMD, when there were 27 ratings, and 100% of them were a 1-star? http://doctor.webmd.com/doctor/6868471/holly-leeds-md-ratings

All, but one provider are compassionate, knowledgeable, and great listeners! I especially like Kirsten George, and Joshua Laird-Wilson. This office is also a one-stop shop, they do primary care for adults, kids, gynecology, mental health, and pain management. I highly recommend them. If I need an urgent appointment it is usually available within a week, but they also have several other locations in Placer, Nevada, and Yuba counties, as well as an urgent care center in Grass Valley. my experiences there have been great and my whole family goes there, and I've seen all of the providers but one, all except for one were great experiences. The below review is about the terrible experience I had today with Dr. Kelada, if you choose to go to this office, do not let them schedule you with him, you will regret it. Please see the review below summarizing my experience. Thank you. :) I saw Dr. Kelada today at Western Sierra Medical Clinic in Auburn. I've been with the office for a few months and the staff as well as other providers are wonderful, Dr. Kelada however is not. my Dr. is on maternity leave, so I scheduled to see Dr. Kelada for a follow up to some labs (I have a rare disease) and for him to go over/sign my advanced directive. He started the appointment by going over the advanced directive, when we were done with that I started to ask him to look at my recent lab results and wanted to talk about new symptoms, and some other issues. He was very rude, stopped me and told me that this appointment was only listed as being for the advanced directive and told me that I need to be more specific when scheduling my appts. I told him that this appt was actually initially scheduled as a follow up and later I called the call center for an appt to go over the advanced directive and they told me they would add it on to this appt.He yelled at me for what was a staff error. He then went through my list of current meds and proceeded to lecture me how I shouldn't be taking "x" medicine and no one with my condition should ever take it. I tried to explain to him why. Once he was done berating me for that and he let me explain why it was prescribed he actually agreed that it is okay and apologized for not having asked me why I take it before going off on me. He then decided to tell me some things in a very cold way, he's super condescending, and has the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced and I've been seen by a lot of doctors everywhere from Stanford to community clinics. I then told him about symptoms including a dislocated rib that I have, something that is unfortunately frequent for me due to my condition and he got up to leave the room and said I'll have to schedule to see him again in a week to go over my other symptoms, I stopped him and asked if I can at least get a refill on my pain medication as it has been painful to breathe and I am running low. He refused and left the room. i followed him out to schedule with the medical assistant in the hallway and he's about to enter another room to see the next patient and he turns around and yells at me to be more specific when I schedule my appt. The medical assistant saw this and had a shocked look on her face and proceeded to silently mouth "I'm so sorry " to me. As I said before, this office has great doctors, front and back office staff, so she pulls me into a room and apologized and basically said they he is very difficult and doesn't like to prescribe pain medication. I've been a patient at this office for awhile and all of the other doctors have no issues with giving it to me since I am responsible with it, but most importantly NEED it as I dislocate bones on a daily basis due to my disease. Every other doctor in this office is compassionate and listens and genuinely care about the patients, Dr. Kelada is the exception. So, I highly recommend Western Sierra Medical Clinic and their providers except him. Oh, and he FORGOT to sign my advanced directive, so now I have to reschedule and basically redo today's appt. If he can't even remember such an important detail, I wonder what else he misses.

Awesome great place! I recommend dr grunfelt, he is the best! The place is easy to find as well!read more
