I have no idea how he gets good reviews, it must be friends and family, false ratings. I went in with a pinched nerve in my neck, he instructed me not to get a massage, which was disappointing as he has a masseuse on-site and one reason I chose this practice but I listened. I got Xrays then he cracked my neck and gave me a bear hug (8 min total after xrays and no back adjustment). Paid $145 that day. Came back 2 days later, same thing, sat in a chair, popped my neck, stood up gave me a bear hug, 8 mins total. I asked him "that's it?" He got mad, asked what else I expected. "Um, maybe a little bed play to correct my back while I'm hear and paying for adjustments" He got angry, made a scene in front of his wife and whoever may have been in the waiting room, basically told me 'he knows what he is doing and to go somewhere else' completely uncalled for but obviously not the first time someone has called him out on his silly methods. But OK, fine with me, Paid my $40. I was blown away with his lack of professionalism in this case but I guess he had already soaked a few hundred dollars out of me. I left disappointed and still in pain. I immediately called a friend's brother, who is a chiropractor in Texas with 20+ years of experience, told him the story. He assured me a bear hug is not standard practice, never heard of anyone doing this prior and agreed this guy is a joke, instructed me to go to another chiropractor. I then began telling the story to friends and family which gave me the opportunity to speak with 2 more local chiropractors, they laughed at the bear hug and poor practice this guy runs, they agreed a bear hug is NOT standard and we all nicknamed him the frat boy chiropractor, which doesn't matter as nobody who heard this story will ever use him. A month later, got a bill in the mail for another $126.66. I have the best General Motors insurance; this place is an overpriced scam. Anyway, while I was in a lot of pain with this neck issue, I decided to get a massage, exactly what Stark told me not to do. I had immediate relief and with a couple more massages I felt great. I should have saved my money and just got a massage to start with. I would highly recommend NOT going to this practice, don't be fooled by the high ratings like I was, they simply can not be honest reviews. The Facebook rating is based on how many people like the page, well since you can not dislike the page this will always be a 5 star rating. Call around and get pricing on other chiropractors. I now know of one who charges only $25/adjustment if you have insurance, not $40 like this guy. The other 3 chiropractors assured me they take time with their patients and the methods he used on me were unorthodox. I am an engineer and a small business owner, I am professional, understanding and never want to leave negative reviews and it took me months to finally determine this practice deserves a negative. I have paid the bill, it wasn't the money that disappointed me it was the Chiropractor. I am in contact with my insurance and better business but I doubt it will amount to anything. Please save yourself the disappointment and find yourself a better practice. read more
